Our old dog was half beagle and half Brittany. He was a gorgeous dog that was thankfully mainly driven by his Brittany temperament but if he was off lead and got the scent of something he basically became a baying beagle. Never hugely reliable off lead but generally came back eventually, provided there wasn’t anything to chase.

Looks suitable Beagley to me. Me Best friend’s Beags, taken a few years apart.

I don’t know if she’s ‘pure’ beagle but she’s a cutie. Be careful with her though. Those exploding unicorns can be dangerous

Someone I know locally has a beagle and walks it round our local park. He told me he can't get over how much energy the dog has and kind of wished he hadn't got it!

He looks pure to me. Some of them do have a look of foxhound about them when you get to know them, mine included.

We are dog sitting for our friends beagle at the moment. She is calcite but such a rascal. Here she is sitting on the furniture. Our Labrador never goes on furniture.

I'd say no, that's not a pure breed beagle, the face gives it away. She is very pretty though!

My brother has one - his wife's choice. Lockdown puppy and he is totally bonkers and a complete liability. Seriously cute face though - I mean, you just can't resist the head tilt and raised ears, can you?

Looks like a working type Beagle to me too, Google working type Beagle OP and then KC show/pedigree Beagle. KC show/pet bred Beagles are cobbier, stronger heads. Working type are racier and vary in height. Working type aren't registered with the KC but there is a pack registry (working beagles).

FYI, working pack Bassets are very different to show/KC type too, much less skin! And finer boned.

I can see the picture. It's the snout that looks too big for a beagle but it might just be the picture.

Yes the snout doesn’t look like a pure beagle but decapitating a unicorn is a very beagle thing to do!

Sorry guys was out at a carnival tonight with the children much fun... anyway I don't know just something about her wee face doesn't sit right... she was bought from someone who does breed beagles.. 8im just not 100% convinced and I honestly don't care more just a nosiness, she does have an awful howl the second a move away from her has lots of beagle traits
