Was going to say steppedog, but that was what I always called our spaniel, who we lost afew weeks ago.

Hmm, maybe steppehound?

He is 18 months, mixed breed, huge cuddly fluff ball.
rescue, but more of a rehome, so hasn't been badly treated, just owned by an elderly couple who couldn't give him the exercise he needs.

He is possibly the most handsome dog I've ever met (not that I am biased!)

I've been in zoom calls all morning and just came back to this to find lots of lovely comments

His mother was a carpathian shepherd or a mioritic shepherd. No idea about the father.
He is VERY like a golden retriever, in looks and temperament.
The tail is 100% natural, no clipping, it curls down and then over at the end! Ridiculous fluff ball!

We lost our precious Springer Spaniel (steppedog) a few weeks ago, unwell over Christmas and then went down hill really fast. The kids were heartbroken and the house was very empty, and I fond him on a local rescue website.

We're having such fun with him, getting to know him.
He is clever, with a definite dose of stubborn naughtiness

Discovered last night that he can open doors....

When you let him out he does zoomies in the garden, huge bouncy puppy springing down the garden and back!
