Carrying bag full of poo

Any better ways to carry a full poo bag? Found some bum bag type things on amazon but the thought of stuffing a full bag in there doesn't fill me with joy.
We walk quite far some days and I end up carrying a bag most of the walk due to lack of bins. There must be a better way!

Do you know why I don't have a dog? Because I don't like carrying round poo. I'm pretty annoyed that other people who have chosen to have a dog and are choosing to leave poo under bushes in plastic bags for any length of time and saying they can't afford to pay thirty quid for a dickybag to solve the problem. That's what gives dog owners a bad reputation.

@TheVolturi they’re great! And of course if you are walking over farmland you must take it with you anyway.

We've had a Dickybag for ages - it's really good, can highly recommend. I have mine attached to a shoulder bag that I keep treats/water/extra poo bags in. It's no hardship at all.

My dog is so excited she usually goes in first 100m of our walk, so often I will bag up and leave behind the car to take it home to the bin. Last time, came back to the car and someone else had picked up my bag :D

Sorry, not helpful. I will sometimes walk for an hour and a half carrying a bag of poo though - not pleasant but doesn't really bother me. Tried attaching to long line but gets banged about too much. Ah well.

I have a mini bag that hangs across my body satchel style. It’s oil cloth from Cath Kidston (in the sale).

Our dog wears a harness, so we clip it to that and she carries her own poo home!

Fully agree with those who say leaving it under a bush/on a tree is grim - even if you pick it up on your return (and many don't), in the meantime everyone else still has to walk past bags of shite on their nice country walk!

@doubletweenqueen, given that you know your dog goes pretty much straight away within 100m, is there any reason why you don't just put the poo in a bag in your car, maybe in a nappy bin or sealed plastic tub, so that the next time you're walking your dog some unfortunate and responsible soul doesn't have to move the shit that you left lying around because they didn't know your weird poo system?

I can’t believe it either, how many seem to think it’s ok to leave bags and come back later.Dog owners already have a bad rep because of this sort of thing- it looks bloody awful and lazy

No. It's not a weird system, and quite usual where I walk my dog. The bag is left next to the rear bumper out of anyone's way, and us never forgotten. Thankyou for your concern though.

Thinking about poop
Bags I was running late for a coffee date ( 2nd date with guy and he was rushing me ) anyway took the dog on school run and he done his usual poop
On way home, bagged it .... came round the corner to my house and date was waiting ... quickly shoved the poo bag in my coat pocket .. jump in bring the dog ... took my coat off put it on the back seat ... went for a coffee and walk round the lake ... got back to the car and he said ... ewww there's a really bad smell around here .... then it hit me
... I'd left the poop in the poop bag in my pocket on the backseat 🙈😳 said the dog must of farted and never ever told
