DDog died unexpectedly today - need a hand hold

My beautiful lovely smiley girl

She was only 2.5 and suffered a yet unexplained cardiac arrest while out walking. She died instantly.
I'm absolutely devastated and don't know what to do.

I’m so sorry for your loss, what a beautiful girl she is. I had a very similar experience back in October with my girl she was 11. We went out for a walk, got home and she went floppy and unresponsive, I picked her up and she died and in my arms. I couldn’t settle in the days afterwards I was heart broken. I posted on here and the support I got was absolutely amazing and it’s what got me through those dark days. I read each message every morning and sometimes at night. People telling me of their stories of similar experiences, it helped me so much. Now it’s been a couple of months and I haven’t cried for a few weeks, time is a healer. Be kind to yourself and let yourself grieve, sending hugs.
