some people ripped a strip off me... some understood ethical breeding. As an owner of standard poodles for over 18 years now , I am sick of designer doodles. It is killing the real standard poodle lines. I am so very pleased to say, that our Gracie gave a fantastic litter, now has been fixed as our breeder is very much a one and done for her guardian homes.. I had the choice of my money back that i paid for grace...or pick of litter. Meet Mr Oliver

thank you so much ...we love our ollie bear. His mama grace is amazing and is so very happy to play with him all the time...even though he is a pain in her arse.

Our Gracie ( Olivers mother) is our fourth from the same breeder. We lost our Seamus 4 years ago at 12 years old.. we lost his mother Lexi the week before halloween this year..at almost 18 years old. All from the same breeder. Our Grace and Ollie will help heal our hearts after losing seamus and lexi

yes.. she was hanging on for so long... loved her more than life.. here she is two days before we lost her...with our oliver

at this point.. Our Lexi could not walk. I put astroturf to all of the doors so she could grip the floor as the hardwood was impossible for her. Two days after this photo.. we had an amazing vet come out and send her to the rainbow bridge. She had soiled her self a few times and could not walk without help..it would have been wrong to try to keep her alive any longer. We miss her more than life but we know she is in a better place. 18 years of love. She was amazing

Same, all the dogs being put down from shelters. Someone is looking for validation. I don’t care about standard breeds. They are all souls. Money, money, money.

i am sorry. i love the fact that dogs are rescued and I am sure your pup is loved and taken care of, I just do not want people to keep breeding crossbreeds, I am hopeful to be part of saving a dying breed. I could care less about their pedigree. Just because my dogs are purebred...makes them no less loved in our family from our daughters rescue shep collie mix...and our sons warimiener hounddog mix. Problem with mix breeds...they end up in the pound toooooo often. Not nice for the wonderful dog.

Dogs that are put down in Rescues presumably are not suitable for rehoming, sometimes due to their poor experience in previous homes.
I don't see why you are sniping at someone who is giving their own dogs a good life.
All dogs cost money money money if you look after them well, especially vet bills as they get older.

MN baffles me sometimes...we are always told never to buy cross breeds and that Pedigree is the way to go as it's the only way to guarantee a breeder is ethical, yet here you are getting slated for breeding a pedigree pup!

I have had both rescues and bought pedigree puppies depending on the stage of life I am at, people need to remember rescue dogs aren't suitable for everyone.

Good for you Hmm

Loads of people on here have applied to rescue dogs and have been turned down for the most ridiculous reasons.

Also, rescues are not for everyone.
