I’ve (responsibly) bred a litter of puppies and I need a naming theme!

Before anyone gets irate, this litter has been planned for nearly four years, back when I went on the waiting list for my bitch. Both my dog and the father have been shown at champ shows with success, the father has had international success, work in the field, have no allergies/health problems and exceptional temperaments.
They are also both hip and elbow scored with excellent scores, have had a BVA eye test and a gonioscopy, and have been DNA tested for all the relative inheritable diseases. The puppies’ COI is 2.4%. I’m keeping one puppy for myself, most have had homes allocated before conception, one lady has been waiting nearly 18 months.

Anyway, they’re 6 days old and I need to KC register them tomorrow. There’s seven of them. They need names on a theme, and despite thinking about it since we planned the mating, I’m still stuck. They were born in the early hours of the 9th of November and they’re Hungarian Vizslas.
There was loads of Aurora activity around that time where I’m from, so I was thinking about a His Dark Materials theme, but I’m also open to ideas.
There are four girls and three boys, picture is a few of them in a milk coma.

What beautiful dogs OP. I adore vizslas. There were a few at our gundog class and, while I’m happy with our gamekeeper-bred Lab (who isn’t really cut out for field work, but now does well at agility), I’d love a vizsla in the future ( for those ears alone!)

Well done for responsibility breeding a healthy, tested litter of a breed with known and positive traits. While I admire people who take rescue dogs, your pups are exactly what we ( as a family with young children, looking for a dog with particular traits) would want in a pup and I really can’t understand why anyone would object to that, or to you selling them for money. Weird.

As for the names, I like the WW1/ Remembrance Day theme. The prettiest bitch needs to be Poppy 😊

Any chance of more chonky puppy pics OP?

Thanks everyone for all your suggestions! I’ve gone with the Hollywood theme. Their names will be ‘my prefix’ followed by:

Ginger Rogers
Audrey Hepburn
Grace Kelly
Doris Day
Fred Astaire
Cary Grant
Marlon Brando

Subject to KC approval obviously!
I wasn’t 100% surprised at people getting angry that I bred a litter, but I’m happy that I’ve done everything I can to breed sound, healthy dogs with great temperaments that can work, show or just be a good family pet.

There is still work to do socialising the puppies once they open their eyes, having them meet different people, children, taking them in the car, doing the beginning of house training, playing them firework and gunshot noises, hoovering near them etc.
I have extra motivation to breed the very best puppies I can because I want my new puppy to be just as nice as her mum!
