I feel like I’ve been really lucky with my dog when I read this forum. I know people with issues are more likely to write about them than people who happily coexist with their dogs, but there must be more people who have a really easy dog?
I’ve got a 2, neatly 3 year old Vizsla, supposedly a high energy, needy breed.
She has a one hour walk a day, but can miss a day if the weather is terrible/I’m ill. Equally can go for 20 miles if you want. She walks on the lead nicely, comes back when you ask, is good with other dogs.
Fireworks/thunder/gunshots don’t bother her, she doesn’t really get up by choice until 10.30am so we get a lie-in whenever we want. We can leave her alone whenever we like, she just sleeps. She doesn’t touch anything in the house she shouldn’t.
We can take her to other peoples houses and she just lies on her blanket.
I’ve had dogs before her so I realise I’ve won the dog lottery. Just wondering if anyone else has a really easy dog?
