So many lovely pups! Sweet pup seems fairly committed to 5:30am as first wee/poo time, and it's just close enough to my usual wake-up to make it not worth going back to bed!
Most of you seems to be either first time or only pup owners, so we're in a slightly different place. Sweet dog is six and a half and is (mostly) graciously doing a lot of the heavy lifting for us. He absorbs most of the biting, but most impressively has taught Sweet Pup that when the humans are in the kitchen, it's best to get into the bed and watch calmly (then the carrot offcuts come to you!). It took us a year to teach that 'settle' to Sweet Dog, Pup has nailed it in three weeks.
Other training; we are working on 'leave it' - essential for Cocker Spaniel owners (don't plan on ever having matching socks again!), I won't teach 'paw' because, cute as it is, it's their go-to begging and attention grabbing gambit, and Sweet Pup will be going to work in a months time and mustn't do it with students!
Toilet training is going well, with the exception of one post zoomies poo yesterday afternoon, no wees in the house in a week, but again, he's copying his big brother, but Sweet Dog doesn't poo in the garden, only on walks, so no role model there.
Our main struggle in the car - if someone doesn't sit with him, the Pup shouts, yodels, crys. I haven't dared try the two of the together in case there is a fight (Sweet Dog is a bit of an enforcer when he thinks pup is misbehaving.
Anyway, enjoy your pups - this stage will pass - then you get a brief respite before the teen rebellion starts!
