Not sure what it is, but it’s not a whippet. Lovely dog.

Lovethesun100 · 09/03/2020 21:16

Think the ears are wrong for a full bred Whippet, could be a cross ?

notapizzaeater · 09/03/2020 21:16

Pointer with the tail ?

SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock · 09/03/2020 21:17

The face doesn't look like a whippet, maybe a cross breed?

NotwhereIshouldbe · 09/03/2020 21:17

Looks like a crossbreed to me!

katmunchkin · 09/03/2020 21:18

Similar body and head to an English pointer, but I'd say crossed with something for those markings

MooseBeTimeForSummer · 09/03/2020 21:20

Brindle Italian greyhound?

Ilovelala · 09/03/2020 21:21

If you google her lots of pictures come up with this same dog, looks different in every picture. Read a few articles with her talking about her dogs but she doesnt mention the breeds. I guess a cross but dont know what types at all.

Thisismytimetoshine · 09/03/2020 21:23

It’s not any sort of greyhound, it’s body is too heavy.

Dacaday · 09/03/2020 21:23

Pointer Cross I'd say.

Clymene · 09/03/2020 21:25

Mongrel

Squidgoals · 09/03/2020 21:25

Looks like it could be a beagle-greyhound cross. Gorgeous

GrumpyMiddleAgedWoman · 09/03/2020 21:53

Bull lurcher? Usually a staffie x sighthound

Definitely not a pointer cross, that would not come out brindle, the genetics wouldn't work.

SerendipitySunshine · 09/03/2020 21:56

Pointer

I'm thinking this.

RoombaSavedMySanity · 09/03/2020 22:02

It's a cross breed and studies have shown it almost impossible to guess cross breeds in looks alone - something like less than 10% of cross breed guesses at the parent breeds match DNA testing.

Sorry OP!

mrscatmad31 · 09/03/2020 22:04

I'm thinking bull lurcher too

ShortAndSharp · 09/03/2020 22:07

I agree with Grumpy.

midnightstar66 · 09/03/2020 22:08

That is not a whippet, nor is it any full breed dog. Could be a whippet crossed with a staffy or many other similarish crosses

Shambolical1 · 09/03/2020 22:08

Yep bull lurcher. Or cross/derivative thereof.

AvocadosBeforeMortgages · 09/03/2020 22:10

I'm afraid dog breed DNA testing isn't entirely accurate, so there's more than one factor at play here. FWIW I find that most people who guess at my mutt's breed get at least one half of his parentage right, though few get both right.

JKScot4 · 09/03/2020 22:10

Bull/lurcher.
Who is the woman?

QueenOfOversharing · 09/03/2020 22:26

Got a cute bully-looking face. Agree bull-lurcher looks right.

Wasail · 09/03/2020 22:28

Pointer cross
