Calling all experts! What is the long-haired one on the left. Googling skills letting me down!

Thanks.

Can anyone tell me what this breed/mix is?

Oooh I know it, give me a sec...

TinyTimsCrutch · 03/02/2020 16:25

Hungarian puli?

TinyTimsCrutch · 03/02/2020 16:26

Scrap that I didn’t zoom in yours hasn’t got dreads Confused

LochJessMonster · 03/02/2020 16:29

no I don't. I thought it was a long haired Berger Picard but the nose is wrong.

Other options -
Pyrenean shepherd
Tibetan terrier
soft coated wheaten terrier (distinctive face shape)

RatherBeRiding · 03/02/2020 16:29

Looks too big to be a Puli - they are quite a small breed with a markedly corded coat. Could well be a cross though. Could also be a cross with a Romanian Miroritic Shepherd - the size and type of coat look about right for a cross although they are usually grey/white even in a cross. Definitely looks like a middle European livestock breed/cross though

LochJessMonster · 03/02/2020 16:30

I did think a Puli but with straight hair?

eeehbyegum · 03/02/2020 16:30

Tibetan terrier?

RatherBeRiding · 03/02/2020 16:32

Briard is another possibility

JamieFraserskneewarmer · 03/02/2020 16:35

Thanks for responses - I saw it on Wisting which is a Norwegian drama and managed to find a photo but no details. I thought it might be a Pyrenean shepherd but is not. When it was sitting down it had fabulous ear fringes on German Shepherd shaped ears so not a Romanian Miroritic Shephed (although they are gorgeous too!) .

It has distinctive ear tips which I recognise but can't name.

SansaClegane · 03/02/2020 16:41

I thought Briard too when I looked at the photo.

Fjord1983 · 03/02/2020 16:42

Yeah, I thought on Briard as well

Albatross123 · 03/02/2020 16:44

Wheaten terrier?

Difficult to judge size but I think it is too small to be a Briard. Definitely not a Puli.

JamieFraserskneewarmer · 03/02/2020 16:44

I think Ratherbe Riding has it! Thanks SO much!

Briards are big dogs. They do have the same ears, but are big stocky dogs.

LochJessMonster · 03/02/2020 16:50

Actually I guess it is the same height as the Doberman which is right for the breed, it just looks very small compared to the mans leg in the background.

Albatross123 · 03/02/2020 16:52

The ears look more like a Cairn terrier. Briards have floppy round ears in UK but in the US they sometimes crop them.

Albatross123 · 03/02/2020 16:55

I guess if the other is a Doberman then I am way out on size. The other option would be a Bouvier des Flanders (which I have). They are heavier built than a Briard, but again floppy ears in the UK, often cropped to stand up in the US.

tellmewhenitsover · 03/02/2020 17:09

My 1st thought was a briard. My doodle sometimes gets mistaken for one

EmmaOvary · 03/02/2020 18:12

I'd say a Briard.

Darklane · 03/02/2020 18:59

The coat is wrong for a Wheaten.
If the legs had been shorter I’d have said a Skye like my lot.

Can anyone tell me what this breed/mix is?
Darklane · 03/02/2020 19:00

Though it looks reddish & there’s no red in any Skyes

Darklane · 03/02/2020 19:10

Could it be this? It’s running so it’s ears could be bobbing up & down & photo caught the “up”.
Catalonian Sheep Dog

Can anyone tell me what this breed/mix is?
StormBaby · 03/02/2020 19:13

I'd go with Briard too, they are Doberman sized

Shambolical1 · 03/02/2020 21:50

My first thought was Picardy Sheepdog (Berger)
