Calling all experts! What is the long-haired one on the left. Googling skills letting me down!

Thanks.

Can anyone tell me what this breed/mix is?

"Briard" was the first breed that popped into my head when I saw it.

HAB86 · 04/02/2020 10:18

I think Briard too

Thanks all - it definitely looks like a Briard. Now to convince DH....

That is an Australian Wombat with dreadlocks ma'am

HerculesJohn · 04/02/2020 18:20

It's not unlike an Otterhound (but not quite leggy enough?) - am guessing it's not, though, as there aren't many around and most are in the UK/US.

Darklane a Skye terrier is one of my dream dogs! So beautiful and characterful.

I've only known one Briard so happy for a dozen people to say I'm wrong... but that dog was a total PITA. I was told they are cattle herders, which they do by nipping the heels of the cattle? Fucking dog would bite everyone's ankles until you were all huddled in the middle of the room Angry Are you sure you want one?

That is 100% a French Briard.
