Dog name - that either isn’t a person name, or is a very unusual person name?

Picking up our dog soon and can’t think of a name!

I prefer dog names that either aren’t people names - or are very unlikely people names.

So far I like:
Digby
Peanut
Pippi
Rocco

But not feel quite perfect.

Anyone want to give me some suggestions?

My kids like all names from kids’ movies they’ve seen or books they’ve read! So any unusual names that come from kids’ books (hence Pippi) or just any suggestions really! Would be so helpful!

I like nature names - Bracken, Bramble, Fern, Swift, Fly, Drift (the latter few are from 'Mist'). The best human name for a dog I've encountered recently was Mavis, although I've also known an Alan, and we have a cocker spaniel living locally called Augustus John :)

Forgot the one I actually came here to post - Grendel

Another with the place names. I knew a Preston, and his predecessor Waltham or Walthie. I think the new one is to be called Shurlock after a village Shurlock Row.

I also know a Hamlet which is rather cute for a scruffy Jack Russell. (After the cigar advert, Happiness is a hound called Hamlet)

I once knew of a cat called Bosie, short for Reginald BosanCat (after the newsreader Reginald Bosanquet

Arlo is also an adorable dog name. We almost adopted a spaniel called Arlo :)

You could go all Bronte and have Keeper or Pilot.
Or Bronte, come to that.
