Make sure its a name you're happy calling over and over again as they fly past you doing cockery things.
My cockapoo is an absolute mix of cocker when she's out, nose down, quartering, hunting and poodle when she's at home, unable to be left, sits round my neck, very sweet.
They're lovely dogs though and once she turned 2 she's finally become very obedient.

Blimey, if you don’t know what you’re in for it shows you have done no or minimal research and the puppy blues are going to hit you very, very hard.

Find a VERY good behaviourist near you now and keep their phone number handy.

She does look quite Fudgey. Also, you can start swearing 'Fuuuu' and finish with 'udge'
They're lovely dogs, you'll be fine. Work on her recall from day 1.
Also, get her used to being groomed, i was amazed at the difference between her baby coat, which i groomed daily and smugly thought i'd be able to keep long, and her adult coat which is enormously thick and although the top layer is groomed and matt free, underneath, it can matt and it's difficult to get a comb through to her skin. She now has to visit a groomers regularly.

"Getdownnow" and "Dontrollinthefoxshit" seems to be the popular name for the both the labradoodles and cockapoos in my village.

I personally like calling sweet, cute, fluffy, cuddly animals terrifying names, and scary animals cutesy names. Think kittens called Gilgamesh the Destroyer and tarantulas called Fluffy.

I have a Male cockapoo and he is lovely. Recall was a bit tough at first but he is great now.

This our Bailey a straight haired cockapoo. 5 months now and very clever and affectionate.
