Dog walking company name

Wise dog lovers of mumsnet please could you help me name my Dog walking company?

I'd like something simple and memorable. I'll also be offering home visits and cat care, but walking is the main part of the business.

I wondered about 'brown paws' (all other colours taken), or 'outdoor paw'?

I know threads like this can raise concerns about careless dog walkers. I know how important this job is. I am trained, and first aid qualified. I will be fully insured and have a DBS check. I am gaining further experience with the dogs trust. I will walk very small groups.

Please could you tell me what you think of my name ideas, or suggest the type of name that appeals to you as a dog owner.

There were two local to me that always made me smile, Hound Stretcher and Central Bark.

Haha defender that are great! Any thoughts on my ideas? Too boring?

Billy- yes muddy paw has gone. Great name! As has purple paw and plum paw.

I like muddy paws rather than brown paws, don't like the bit about all other colours taken.

Outdoor paw isn't really catchy.

Sorry to be critical and not come up with a better suggestion myself.

Ginger I love muddy paw but the name is already registered to another company.

When I said all the other colours are taken I meant that all the colours I could think of such as 'green paw', 'blue paw', 'red paw' were already being used by other companies......

Actually the most popular one near us is Sue’s Pet Services, so I guess a clever name doesn’t matter too much. More important to have really good reviews.

Bigfatbloomers (love your username), I think maybe you are right, but I want to give this my very best shot and I think maybe initially a memorable name might help? My first name does begun with an though so 'an####'s animal services' is a possibility- it just sounds very dry?

I love 'more paws' and it is available I think!

How about just PAWS. (You could have Jaws-like poster as with a a big cute dogs face cropped to look like Jaws).

What are you planning to offer to make your service stand out from others? That might help you with a name. Eg locally we have a Slinky Dog Hotel who walks/boards/daycare for sausages. Another who does on lead walking only for dogs who need to be walked alone/as a household group only.
Perhaps think about what you will do differently and start from there?
