What is your favourite name for a female dog?

I need some name suggestions and I was wondering what is the best female dog name you have heard?

Not a fan of things like "storm" for example, but I'm a bit of a fan of old lady type names and something cute/interesting

I know a beautiful whippet called Marilyn, and a poodle called Myfanwy.

Nell is a popular girl dog name where I live. Also I know a dog called Paloma which I think is rather lovely.

We have a Nell, she so looks like a Nell too!!

We've just bought a puppy home and called her Nancy.
Among the other names were Tallulah, Pippa, Elsie and Marcie ☺️

Willow and saffron

I think it depends on the breed, but without knowing this I quite like Dorothy/Dottie/Dolly. I do like names that are alliterative with the breed though so maybe I would need a dachshund to use it.

I've had Tessa twice, one a red setter, family dog growing up. Then Tessa, red and white Irish setter.
I now have Lexi, lab/jr and Poppy collie cross.

My girl is called Boudicca - or Boudi for short.
I think its the best name ever.

Does she have a story?

I have a ‘Bhuna’ that was found living stray off the bins at a curry shop. I know it probably means ‘tomato based’ or something like that but our Bhu has really made it her name.

Mine is Tip. I like dogs to have non-human names.

Aww nell looks like queen bee

We have just rescued Pebbles, but she looks like a Rosie to us so Rosie she will be. :D

Mine have been: Suzie (cocker mix), Ginger (fox terrier mix), Holly (Golden Retriever), Ruby (German Shepherd), Sheba (Golden mix), and Lizzy (Choc Lab).
