After castration

I had our male lab puppy castrated last thurs. came home fine but 2 days after he can’t keep food down. The runs and sickness. Was better yesterday and was eating little and often but he just been in garden after drinking water and been sick again. I’m exhausted. Been sleeping in lounge since Thursday now. Please help. I’m also new to this group x

Well quick update is that the anti sickness injection seems to have done the job 🤞 He was still in the garden over night a few times the husband tells me ( his turn!) and I’ve just given him sensitive dog food (half a tin) with kaofel liquid and ranitidine tablet. All eaten and enjoyed. Back snoozing now. Keen when anyone pops in the kitchen though. Hoping he’s on the mend. Still seems quiet to me though.

That's good news, it's so awful seeing them unwell.

Hi, oh so much better thank you. Sleeping through, eating (tinned and biscuit mix) and on antibiotics, tablets for tummy and a binding white liquid. No vomiting after the anti sickness injection and the 💩 is getting better. Thank you for all your advice on here. V much appreciated:)

Aaahgggrrrr husband gave him dry food for lunch and been sick again 😨

My dog finds kibble too hard for his stomach to digest. Maybe it was just too much too soon for him and he needs little and often until he is better?

Hoping that’s it. Just been on a walk and now snoozing!
