Help naming male springer puppy

Hi we are getting a puppy on Friday. He is currently called big boy by the breeder because he is chunky. But I can't be calling 'come here big boy' in the park!!

He is a liver and white with no white markings on his face or tail. He reminds me of an ewok from Star Wars.

My DP is into retro names too, hence dave the dog . Also had Eric suggested. I'm just not feeling dave as a name.

I love Ziggy for a Springer. It feels like it's full of the crazy energy springers have.

However, Daniel is genius! 😂

I've a mahoosive lab called Mr Reddington as was heavily into The Blacklist when we got him. Makes walks interesting when I have to call him back 😂

I knew a Dave the dog. It was much smaller tho, I can't imagine a Springer called Dave!

My boy springer is called Finn and my friend's is called Danny aka Daniel the spaniel

I love Welsh boys names but DH is English & can't agree to any of them. I've often thought if we had a dog I'd call him Dylan or Taliesin, Tal or Tali for short.

We have a 12 1/2 week old called Daniel the Spaniel - we thought we were all original like....he has his own facebook page and I found multiple other Daniel the spaniels at the same time!!

I do like 'Mr Taff' though, my Grandparents are all welsh so it does hold a soft spot for that reason.

Hi have spent the day trying to get the house puppy proof! Reorganised all wires and hid them. Put all shoes into wardrobes. Looked into every corner for random chewable things.

We are picking him up at 11.30am tomorrow and am super excited!

I like zeb will mention that one. The current front runner is wicket. Thanks womble.

My DM is sending me nature names - branch, bramble, willow , bracken.
