And of course I've googled but I'm bewildered

Could anyone just tell me what to buy and how much / what to feed her?

She's a miniature dachshund so weeny and prone to obesity!

"hold the chicken wing, or start by using chef/butchers knife to break the bones into many bits before the dog eats it, then graduate to whole wing. its breaking the bone that matters not chopping the whole thing into pieces, as all the dog does is crunch the bone into manageable portions."

He just swallows them whole, lol.

In fairness to him he does it with anything that size or smaller, he knows how to and can chew raw bones no bother, just can't get him to see the point with chicken wings.

It's not a huge deal, I just usually give him something bigger.

He is a rottie though, so his mouth is quite a bit larger than a chicken wing...

going over the rda can be dire for some, fat types and quantities are extremely dicey to mess with, make sure its a different fat to the one that they get from their dry food.

and what a shame we have to 'entice' ddogs to eat Sad

Day four. He had a tray of Nutriment first thing, a chicken wing for lunch and another tray for tea. It's fabulous to not have barely touched cans of dog food sitting in the kitchen for hours.

Try giving the wings frozen makes them last much longer, mine eat them like sweets if they are defrosted- gone in one gulp! I feed them all their raw stuff frozen.
I was buying Natural Instinct but it's expensive for two big dogs then someone recommended DAF to me and it's so much cheaper and free delivery I think. I give them the blocks of mince frozen so I don't have lumps of bloody (as in blood dripping) meat hanging around defrosting. I break the blocks up with a hammer and throw the bits around the garden. They also do loads of treats, I currently have an abundance of raw chicken feet in my dog freezer.
