We now feel that we're in a position to get a Ddog!!all of the online breed selectors suggest terriersHmm
We have 3 Dc..2 in school and one at home...I'm also a sahm.pre dc we always had boxers and as much as we adore them we'd prefer to wait til the dc are older to get another, purely because of their boisterous natureSmile

Please don't buy a 'designer' mix :-( There is no such thing as an ethical breeder of them and you will just be depositing your money into the pockets of a backyard breeder - the scourge of the dog rescue world.

Personally, I would look at a rescue dog from a reputable rescue who keep their dogs in foster homes. The breed isn't relevant if the dog has the right character and attributes for your situation. A foster carer can test the dog with traffic, children, cats and almost any other set of circumstances. You will know that your dog has been seen by a vet, will be free of parasites and will have a backup home for life if they ever need it in the future (this in invaluable). You would have the pleasure of bringing the right dog into your home and saving a life.

Funny you should say that 70, my friend posted of a pic of her patterdale x pup the other day, on the actual roof of her house.

70 I see what you mean! Let's go with that-a lovely area with chimney stacks rather than a minging looking 70s council estate! (Were there no architects in the 60s and 70s?! Who thought 'ooh yeah, this all looks great!)'

Do you want a small dog?

If not my friends lab is fab, and you couldn't get a better family dog than ours, but he is a swissy so huge.....
