And she needs a name Grin

She is 8 weeks, fawn, smooth coated and lushious.

I am, however, quite possibly insane.

well having looked on your profile I have to say you have been conned, that is a rodent of some description, there are no puppy photos (I so want a whippet)

Purplemonster · 23/01/2014 16:27

We need a picture to see what name suits her

UriGeller · 23/01/2014 16:28

Fawn? Bambi? Precious?

I'm jealous. I'd love an Italian greyhound.

TexMex · 23/01/2014 16:28

Picture, picture, picture!!!

UriGeller · 23/01/2014 16:32

Fern? Lily? Winter? Dasher? Comet? Must've been born Xmas time?

UriGeller · 23/01/2014 16:33

This is waaay better than the baby name threads Grin

mistlethrush · 23/01/2014 16:35

Toffee Barley Fudge Victoria (sponge)

(There's a friendly 'pointy dog cushion' running in the Doghouse which you might find helpful)

Helpyourself · 23/01/2014 16:36

Comet. It came to me in a flash and will sosuit her when she's fast as lightening exasperating you in the park.
But as an aside- you're obviously a lovely person, what's with the non book reading!? Shock

monkeyfacegrace · 23/01/2014 16:40

I just dont read! Never have, prob never will. I dont really have time either!

Pic on profile. I collect her in the morning, so thats all Ive got for now. She is all gangly and chewy and has that little silky pink puppy belly

Helpyourself · 23/01/2014 16:43

So jealous, I have a whole board on pinterest devoted to photos of Whippets in the hope that I'll one day be in your shoes.

I think all female whippets can carry Mabel as a name. Or something random like Fly or Devo.

ditavonteesed · 23/01/2014 16:50

she is goregous

MrsBennetsEldest · 23/01/2014 16:50

Lovely little thing.
Moss, Fern or Fay spring to mind.

I am no longer on speaking terms with my Whippet. This morning I caught her removing solids from the cat litter tray. Vile Madam.

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 23/01/2014 16:50

Call her "Oof"!
Which is the noise you will make every time she jumps on you with her pointy paws and elbows! Grin

monkeyfacegrace · 23/01/2014 16:53

Dontbe jealous.

We have had the worst 4 months ever. Really horrid.

So we deserve this Smile

But I think I may some huge help!

RabbitsarenotHares · 23/01/2014 16:54

Walnut (whip)?

moosemama · 23/01/2014 17:13

My favourite names for the more delicate female sighthounds are Willow and Seren.

I do think names like Mabel, Betty and Ethel really suit them as well though.

SuburbanSpaceperson · 23/01/2014 17:19

I came to say Ella, but she doesn't look like an Ella in the photo. So it'll have to be Celeste instead.

PeterParkerSays · 23/01/2014 17:23

of course you deserve her monkeyfacegrace it's just that we all deserve a whippet puppy as well.

Enjoy a cuddle with her for us.

Merrylegs · 23/01/2014 17:26

Oh well done! I have a whippet. He was that little once. She is lovely. And won't take up much room on the sofa. Yet.

monkeyfacegrace · 23/01/2014 17:26

Of course you deserve one too, everybody needs a squeezy, squidgy baby dog Grin
