Normal things that scare your dog?

I wondered if anyone else
has a dog that runs off in fear at the sight or sound of a regular household object?

My Spollie freaks out at - bubble wrap.
You don't have to pop it he knows it's there! Xmas day saw him shaking and running to hide. It must be the sound of it someone's hands. He knows what it's capable of... Quiver.....

Mine's scared of the kitchen floor (because he slipped on it when wet), the dishwasher, the fridge (because it mews like a cat sometimes), the Christmas tree in the hall but not the one in the Living room, Christmas crackers and more than 4 people sitting at a table. This is because we are 4 and if we have guests he thinks it's Christmas and hence there will be crackers.

However he loves the Hoover and hairdriers.

Best - my dog does the Christmas crackers thing too - even in July if we all sit down together, esp if there's more than just us, she'll quiver in a corner of the kitchen, as obviously, the crackers must be coming out!!
She's also scared of windscreen wipers (quivers in the footwell) and our black cat, who she can't pass on the stairs (he holds her hostage frequently!)
My MIL reckons dogs are scared of anything that makes a noise as it hurts their ears!!!!
