Properly unusual dog names

Csn you share any you have come Across? Not just 'funny' names like Dave or Stanley, which are now common but actual unique names.

I've worked with dogs for 20 years, come across most names several times! We are about to get our first ever puppy after all our rescues so get to name it! Names I've come across recently as examples include Fleece, Pye, Valiant and Worthy.

I won't tell you what we're getting for now so it doesn't influence suggestions!

I like Flute, that's sweet. I've known a Lab called Ghillie.

Lb is very cryptic! Some great names but none really grabbing me, sorry, I'm fussy.

I had a Kes.

My Border Terrier is Sprout

Onion & Gravy the sausage dogs.
Figment the Jack Russell (figment of your imagination - she was very much 'now you see her, now you don't').
Piddles, another Jack R.
Chicken the Pug.
Sandra the Afghan.
Herpes the Lab- because he'd never heel/heal. Charming!

I'd like a sausage dog, I'd call him/her Pencil.

My Greyhound is Sprocket, I know 2 Boxers, Savvy (boy) and Hunni (girl, and yes, it's spelt like that). Someone I went to school with has a King Charles named Precious.

Our fox red lab is called Ivan.

His kennel name which he came with when we got him is Ivanhoe Sleepyhead which suits him as when not running or swimming he sleeps all day!!

Mine are Max and Minnie (big dog and little dog)

Full names - Maxim von Thunder, the Weimaraner
and Minerva von Thunder (in the hopes that she'd take after the goddess of wisdom...) the cocker spaniel.

Thunder is my DH's motorbiking name.

At our dog class, there's a goregous wee toy poodle called Clooney.

Welsh terrier called Anyerin (Nye), others that I can think of, Moss, Gorse, Quinn, Beanie (he's a twat:)).

I currently want a Boston Terrier (Dh wants another Cav) I like the following

Oh, and I know a dog called Boneapart.

My dog is called Treacle cos she's very sweet and very thick. Also not quite black and not quite brown.

My mad auntie used to have a cat called PissOff because that's all my uncle ever used to say to it.

They currently have a three- legged cat called Tripod.

We name our dogs after whiskys my DH likes drinking. We currently have Talisker and i'm planning on getting a Jura soon.

Oh, I knew a CKCS called Sweetpea. Ahh
