DD has been a poorlyish non sleeping bugger. She's finally collapsed in defeat on the sofa. As I am a good pet owner Hullypuppy is well away from her Grin

There is no room for me on the sofa. DD actually chose the bloody dog over her own attentive caring mother Hmm

Where are your four legged friends at present?

Devil Dog asleep on his bed on the landing on Werewolf duty

Whippy and Puppy are curled up on the sofa together.

All exhausted after their very exciting visitor

BehindLockNumberNine · 21/11/2012 22:11

Whippetyboy is wearing his turquoise blue soft fleece pyjamas and is snuggled up on the sofa next to me, snoring a little.

axure · 21/11/2012 22:13

SBT sprawled on sofa on his back, snoring and farting - we love him though! Other SBT hiding upstairs, doesn't like football on TV.

Sparklytinsel · 21/11/2012 22:14

Our pussy cat is asleep on the back of the chair where OH is sat trying to play on the laptop.
Every so often he mutters and stares at the cat because she's swished him with her tail in her sleep!

HoneyDragon · 21/11/2012 22:15

Werewolf duty does involve stealth guarding, Devil Dog is obviously fake sleeping.

YouveCatToBeKittenMe · 21/11/2012 22:16

Silly Spaniel is wriggling about on his back with his legs in the air chewing some sort of rubber toy.
Scottish Red Snapper is lying nose to bars of the guinea pig cage gazing hungrily adoringly at them

(Fluffiest cat is snoring on the window sill, fluffy cat is asleep in front of me on the desk, scratchy cat is in the kitchen I think)

Sparklytinsel · 21/11/2012 22:16

Just realised I've posted in The Doghouse Blush
Really must pay more attention.
Sorry!

morethanyoubargainfor · 21/11/2012 22:16

Big lad fully stretched out taking up half the sofa, loopy lurcher squashed in a hole needing to be as close to me as possible with his head hanging off the end and the chihuahua is half u der my legs sleeping with one eye open just in case something needs to be barked at!! No snoring or farting here tonight for once Grin

HoneyDragon · 21/11/2012 22:17

Dancing dog is snoring beside me on DH's pillow. Think she is dreaming about the next door cat as she is twitching in her sleep :-). She's still favourite girl!

issey6cats · 21/11/2012 22:19

wander dog is curled up asleep snoring on her not favourite chair cos biscuit and jasper cats are asleep on her chair, jojo cat is on the arm of the same chair cleaning herself and stupid half siamese blue is outside in the cold cos he wanted a lsat wee wee before retiring for the night on the landing

oreocrumbs · 21/11/2012 22:21

The cat is managing to hog most of the sofa next to me, so old dog is on one side of me and the others are on the floor.

All snoring and farting Hmm.

Honestly, all I need is for DP to appear back downstairs and do the same Grin.

Old dog isn't himself Sad and I'm quite sad, he is like a poorly baby, he just wants me to cuddle him all the time. He is my boy, hope he is ok.

Old lady greyhound upstairs in one of the DCs' rooms on nanny duty, young pretender won't go up till he's sure all kitchen activity has ceased for the night!

HoneyDragon · 21/11/2012 22:27

Oreo Sad, if cuddles are what he needs best to give them Smile

OP posts:
Sparklytinsel · 21/11/2012 22:28

Well in that case then honeydragon...

Hamster is asleep in his cage but every so often he will run through his see through pipes which piques the interest of the cat. This results in the cat quickly swishing her tail on OH's neck amid more muttering and swearing at the cat.
Rabbit is sat in her cage in the hallway with her head in her tube looking downright suicidal. Mind you she looks like that when she's running around in the living room as well!

oreocrumbs · 21/11/2012 22:31

No need to worry there, you can't help but cuddle this dog! I don't do favourites but if I did he might be it.

He is just old and dropping to bits now, recovering from a little op to keep him ticking over. He might be old, but he still manages to get himself into bother Grin

tabulahrasa · 21/11/2012 22:31

Bitey cat is sleeping in a cardboard box, clingy cat has sneakily followed DD to bed, Monster puppy is roaming the room looking for things to chew.

axure · 21/11/2012 22:38

Oreo old boys need their cuddles. Lovely to picture us all relaxing with our wonderful pets :)

HoneyDragon · 21/11/2012 22:39

My Monster puppy gives up at 9pm. I an about to visibly force let her out for a wee then bed.

OP posts:
PersonalClown · 21/11/2012 22:42

My boak worthy pair are trying to steal all my snotty tissues.
They think it's great that I've got a stinking cold!

tabulahrasa · 21/11/2012 22:43

He found some washing to chew, I took it off him, then he chased his tail for a bit, played with the curtain for a bit, found a bag to chew and now he's trying to look appealing to DP in the hope that he'll share his supper with him...there's another hour till his bedtime, will I keep you all updated? lol

FayeKorgasm · 21/11/2012 22:48

My daft choccy lab has been boiling her brains by the wood burner all evening. She has now dragged herself off to her crate as she was overheating.

She'll be back!

oreocrumbs · 21/11/2012 23:24

3 out of 4 are on strike now and refusing to go out for a wee.

Obviously the goldie is keen to get out so she can find the muddiest bit of the garden and splash in it before bed Hmm.

Think I might take old dog into bed with me and DD for snuggles, the others can keep DP awake with their snoring company.

How can people not love dogs?

Off to stand in the garden for 15 minutes untill old dog is satisfied there are no new smells and can deign to relieve himself.
