So what's the fiendish animal(s) in your midst doing right now?

DD has been a poorlyish non sleeping bugger. She's finally collapsed in defeat on the sofa. As I am a good pet owner Hullypuppy is well away from her Grin

There is no room for me on the sofa. DD actually chose the bloody dog over her own attentive caring mother Hmm

Where are your four legged friends at present?

I bribed by chucking a biscuit out the door. Quickest wee ever.

Asleep. On my foot. I have pins and needles, daft great lump that he is Grin.

Scuttlebutter · 21/11/2012 23:33

DH is reading in bed - or more accurately, trying to read in bed. This is because a very large greyhound is stretched contentedly alongside him, and every time DH stops stroking him, a paw is waved regally or a nose nudge is applied.

DH does not look at all frightened of the slavering beastie in his midst.

The other three fiendish hounds are scattered (in their cosy fleece housecoats) around various beds, duvets etc upstairs. Most are sleeping and at least one is farting. Grin

Being in my bad books
One of my... Horrors (human variety)did a poo and dint flush or put the seat down
Disgusting dog ate it and I just found poo and wet loo roll smeared all over the floor

Feel sick? I do

SpicyPear · 21/11/2012 23:48

SpicyDog and SpicyPup are curled up on their bed in the living room sleeping peacefully. Feel bad shifting them for final bedtime wees!

ProcrastinatingPanda · 21/11/2012 23:48

Dog is in the hall in her bed not so quietly chewing a rawhide bone.

Cat has went to bed with DS.

Boa constrictor is curled up on his big high branch.

And Aussie water dragon is chilling on his favourite log.

Young Jack Russell lying on my left snoring, elderly Jack Russell downstairs staring at OH while he eats toast. I know this as all I can hear is "piss off you've had your food and treats for the day you fat pig"

She is fat, she is old, and she does eat like a pig and also forgets she has eating so is permanently greeding for food, she has been nicknamed Dyson... poor sod...

Nuttyfilly · 22/11/2012 00:15

All 4 mutts are lay in front of the fire slowly roasting, when one is roasted the next one moves up and takes centre spot

ChickensHaveNoEyebrows · 22/11/2012 11:26

The dappy spaniel is rolling around on his back with his face mace, making growly noises. He is far too energetic today and I have work to do

5hounds · 22/11/2012 11:35

Brindle greyhound is snoozing on her bed. I'm on sofa, basset hound to my left asleep, Rosie greyhound to my left asleep, occasionally dreaming and kicking me in ribs. Ellie sbt puppy is asleep on her dad. Lucy, gsdx is asleep on floor :)

M 12 week old lab puppy has just had a walk, come back super hyper active, had 30 mins in the garden trying to avoid being jumped up on, so he is now in crate.

HoneyDragon · 22/11/2012 13:05

Hullypuppy is now dozing on her new Nylabones. Two hours of chewing wears you out.

Old dog has gone to bed with the cat. The cat is putting up with this because it is very windy and he is a scaredy cat. On a normal day he would give the dog a whack if he tried to get on the bed with him.

Middle two are wedged at either end of the settee hoping to blend in so DD won't make them play with her. And young dog is wandering aimlessley around trying to make someone play with her and probably waiting to get the left overs of DD's lunch.

TunaPastaBake · 22/11/2012 14:50

Lab on her spot on the sofa after a good walk this morning. May stir - only a possibility - when DSs get home from school.

Blistory · 22/11/2012 14:55

She is currently entertaining a client in the boardroom while I frantically make last minutes changes to a report. Fully expect to go in there and find her on two legs, dancing, drooling and generally showing me up or lying on her back, all four legs akimbo showing off her taut, well toned, pre puppy stomach.

2muchxmaspud · 23/11/2012 08:56

Must get glasses, that read
she is currently entertaining a client in the bedroom...

I had to read it again and was like "Phew!"

Oh good god, this made me look round for devil-pup who was suspiciously absent. She's busy being the demonic reincarnation of the Andrex puppy. Wicked black face and miles and miles of soggy, trampled loo roll. Cheers kids for not closing the toilet door! Grin

dwagdays · 23/11/2012 12:55

Wolfhound asleep on bed 'a' lying at full sprawl, dane on bed 'b' curled up and cute. The look companionable but actually are engaged in mind games and bed war. Bed ' a' is best, apparently and if Wolfe leaves it dane will instantly occupy. He has an iron bladder so will get it eventually. He will then have to try and avoid noticing her hissy fit.

Mine are playing out today. Old man is here of course but will be meeting the others at my mums later! All dogs and child out tonight - AND I'm not at work.

There will be wine.

Mind you, I note my mother watches them when they have been out working, and will not move from their beds, not when they are wild!

oreocrumbs · 23/11/2012 14:14

Hmm. I get my own animals baby sat so I can enjoy a hangover and manage to get another one in their place to babysit in the morning Confused.

Ah well the fresh air will do me good!

Love the owner but her dog is a looooonatic!, It will keep me on my toes.

AlienRefluxLooksLikeSnow · 23/11/2012 14:18

My wuss of a Ridgeback is hilariously trying to reach his tongue under the highchair seat to the back where DD has dropped a bit of sausage!! She isn't in it I might add, his tongue is very long I notice, but not quite long enough Grin He has a wheat allergy though, and she keeps chucking him toast at every opportunity.
God I love that dog!! oops, and my DD!!

Mrsjay · 24/11/2012 14:18
