What's the best name you have heard for a dog??

Today whist out for a walk...a dog owner was yelling for her dog in the park. At speed a Jack Russell called....Shackleton...comes flying out of some bushes.

Big name, small dog! IMO Brilliant

I know a tiny westie called Thor, and another called Radley.

Boydog is called Sirius. I wanted to call him Dumbledore, but DH wouldn't have it.

Our dog, when I was a kid, was called Gandhi. We thought it was quite good.

I knew a dog called Diesel. He was a grubby-looking black/grey/brown hairy mongrel, and the name suited him down to the ground.

My Auntie's dog was called Costa - as in cost a lot of money!

Coolest names I know are two choc labs called Aston and Bentley

I used to work at a vets so have seen many strange names. My favourites were a westie called Dudley Mcstudley and a cross breed called Brian.

I met a wirey grey little terrier called...drumroll...Brillo! Brilliant. And a cocker spaniel called Jarvis. I think it was Marianne Faithful who said one of her first memories was of a dog barking and a man shouting "down Mr Bone,Sir !".

Had a beardie called 'happy'

according to my husband our next dog will be called 'Useless' as he says they are all useless!!

But my favourite one as per Milly Mollie (kids programme) has to be Puddles...

Just remembered a Great Dane I knew (soppiest, gentlest dog I ever met) called Tiny. And his best mate, a JRT, called Hugo (as in 'huge')

One of our neighbours shouts every evening for two cats called Milly and Mandy. I wonder what happened to Molly.
