It sounds like you've had a difficult, strange night.
Life can be so strange with what it throws up against us, especially in your case.
You mention that life is showing you what you need/want to hear on a spiritual basis.. what do you think that's about? I'm quite spiritual too, and I honestly think if that were me, it'd be life showing me what I'd left behind and reminding me to leave the past in the past. Your ex messaging at the same time as you meeting his ex, is really strange. But you also fully realise you're not going back there, you're a new person and you simply won't be engaging with him. I think it might be a spiritual sign just to remind you to get on with who you are now, and pay no heed to him. X

@naughty40me I know you have not been here before so just a rundown, the food is calorie free and non allergenic.

THere is a petting zoo and outside is a water feature.

Somewhere nearby is a lock box where the marmite is kept because I won't have it in the café.

Inside there are kittenbees, they are kittens the size of bees with wings Outside are the Bumblecats, a larger very similar animal but not as sweet tempered.

Oh and Leo, is a Lemur stolen from the Yorkshire nature park and refuses to leave. He is obsessed with feeding the goats.

Well you can tell by the time I'm not 100% well so custard, yep florence can make custard tarts, I'll make a spotted dick or two to be served with custard and Fernando is making a chocolate custard cocktails.

I was dreading it, but have booked a jaunt with my boys next Thursday for a week, leaving DH at home with doggies!
Plan is to have a quiet-ish first week!
Does anyone know anything about HR? I'm still bloody waiting for a start date for my job... it's been SIX WEEKS!! I'm getting bloody frustrated but even though I chase they say there's nothing they can do 🙄🙄🙄

Morning @laughinglovingliving I am wide awake here. I had some cancer treatment earlier and it has left me wired and uncomfortable. I could do with some Horlicks and cake. I had been saving a nice bit of red velvet cake but DH found it and scoffed it yesterday. I’m mourning it.
The jaunt sounds fun. How many boys?
