Well Ned the scooter has had his first outing (actually the name has not been settled it might be Crystal or Cherry or something else).

So after a trip tot he community shop I have an excess of fruit so I'll make smoothies and juices. Florence is making various fruity cakes and Fernando is adding alcohol to the juices and the smoothies.

I like the name Cherry

How was it?

It was good, my carer walked with me, I think he was happy not to be pushing me.

He's not keen on the shop, he says the people are bit shouty, I don't think they are but I 'get' what he means.

Call it Leo , ahh go on you know you want to 😂.

I am glad it went well , you need to get your carer a skateboard and tie it to the back so you can tow him along 🛹

So boiled, poached, convent, coddled, fried or scrambled.

Florence is making breads and Fernando is mixing bloody marys.

Please can I have a couple of poached eggs on toast from that big white bloomer Florence has made @sashh .

Ooh it's quiet round here, except the few birds singing at 2.15am when I got in.
I am really hungry but cba cooking so I have put a big tin of lured red tomatoe soup in the slow cooker and made some cheeses butties , you can toast them if you want in the hot skillet.
I am going to chuck a extra log on the fire and snuggle up with my soup and toasty

Hi Scotty! Rewena bread is a kind of sourdough made with a fermented potato "bug". Utterly delish.
My fig jam is just figs (obviously) lemon juice, brandy and sugar. Yummmmy, It's so good with blue cheese...
I have three fig trees which produce hundreds of kilos which the birds steal unless I get in first. you don't need to do anything to them, except prune the height a little-they just grow.

Guava jelly? Of course I'd like some. Where do you live @pollyglot ?
