Should I reopen the happy place cafe?

I'm often awake in the night, today was a lie in for me, only properly awake since 4am.

In lockdown I opened, 'the happy place café where I would make virtual breakfasts and people would come to chat.

When it was last opened my French pastry chef Florence had married Fernando the cocktail waiter.

The kitten bees are inside because it is too old but the bumble cats are in the garden as usual.

SO should I reopen or was just something for lockdown?

I would love a bacon and egg sandwich on flimsy sliced white. And to think - no piggies harmed in the making of a HPC bacon butty! And a cup of tea please

OK an order waiting for me, looks like it's breakfast butties all round. Florence will supply croissants and I'll just give Fernando the run of the bar.

If there are any breakfast buttie left please can I have a couple, I have been in work since 6am , I stopped for my lunch half a hr ago to discover the flaming microwave isn't working and I dont fancy cold veggie chilli 😕

@ScottBakula Oh no, I hope there was something else to eat.

Lets use up left over butties to make in to jaffles and toasties.

There are also home made samosas from my neighbour's Eid party.

@sashh , unfortunately nothing proper , i had half.a bag of minstrels , a peperami and a small handful of dried fruit ( snacks I always carry around with me for long journeys ) I was in the middle of a big industrial estate with no shops within less than a half a hr walk .

@ScottBakula Oh dear, not exactly a healthy of filling lunch.

Well to make up I think I'll make beans on toast with a little cheese and some crispy bacon. Florence is making bagels so pick a filling if you want a bagel and Fernando can experiment with mucky and fluffy ducks.

Ooh beans and cheese on toast with a dash of lee and perrin's and a mucky duck please . I got home about half a hr ago so this is perfect timing

Umm tell Fernando to go carefully when experimenting with fluffy and mucky ducks or he will end up with a flucky duck !

This has been my third wake up this week but tonight I've given in and got up and made a brew and brought my phone and book downstairs. Dog has snuck off sofa and into my bed space. Rude !

@Polkadotpjs The cat has decided she needs to spend nights on my pillow, which she somehow manages to get into the middle of the bed so I end up on the edge.

She is currently snuggling into my neck like I am wearing half a fox fur.

I went back to bed and wedged myself in alongside dog and DH. Feel better now after a wild swim this morning. I'll be knackered shortly though

Someone's dog was barking and it woke me up so I'm going to start on hot drinks while Florence bakes breads and croissants I'll think about cooking in a bit.

The kittenbees are still asleep so I'll take my drink in to the garden.

@sashh , I hope its wasn't @Polkadotpjs dog barking.

I think I will keep breakfast simple this morning and have a strong black coffee and a bowl of crunchy nut cornflakes please .

Not @Polkadotpjs dog, no. Dogs in the café are very well behaved.

Yes I am fine , I jyst fancied something a bit lighter, but regretted it later , I was hungry again within a hour .🙁

Ah I should if known better, of course it wouldn't of been @Polkadotpjs angelic pooch .
