Why are you awake?

My DS is 2 years 3 months, and he just started sleeping through the night yesterday. In his bed! But what am I doing? I am awake checking up on him if everything is ok 🫠🤦🏻‍♀️

I am also 15 weeks pregnant with #2, and you'd think my body would know by now that uninterrupted night is a gold dust in this parenting world and would just fall asleep, but noooo... Here I am lying awake, thinking about most random conversations I had 10 years ago.

Just feel utterly crap. I have had the sore throat and cold thing for two weeks and it’s wrecked me.

Remember those nights so well, two weeks before his second birthday was the first full nights sleep I had. It does get better hang in there xx

Because one of my new rescue kittens hid up the chimney (escaped from utility/boot room) was missing all day. Shot down at about 2.30am. I now think she may be in the kitchen so I am very quietly mnetting in the kitchen I heard a little clatter and think she must be in a cupboard but don't know where. Can't see any gaps.

It's been a long night.

Feeling poorly. Horrid head cold, stuffy nose, about an hour ago I had horrible chills but they seem to have eased off. Extremely annoying as 9mo DS is not a reliable sleeper but seems to be going through tonight.

Ugh. I think perimenopause insomnia too. I will be awake until 3 usually which gives me a refreshing 3.5 hours until I have to get up. There is not enough eye cream to cover my bags! Also I can hear next door's dog snoring, it has made me feel a bit tearful as my lovely dog used to snore too.

I’m here - poor DD4 has been up vomiting since 12.30 - suspect she picked something up at a birthday party yesterday (lots of little hands all over the sandwiches and biscuits).

She’s been a little trooper about it - we brought her in with us with a sick bowl and she was trying to watch Bluey in between voms 😢.

Shes dropped off now - hoping she stays asleep so I can get some shut eye too.

Brain whirling mainly about my NC sister’s awful behaviour since my parents died. She’s obstructing the closure of their estates (2 years on) simply because she wants every single thing for herself. Her greed is hideous.
Two years of abusive emails, lies and sheet spite.
i can’t see it ending to be honest. She won’t be happy until she’s got it all (she already has 90%!)

Had an upper blepharoplasty yesterday and so only sleeping on my back, and I keep waking up desperately wanting to turn on my side but can’t! 😩

I have always wanted that done, my eyes really let me down, especially the saggy upper lids! Hopefully it won't trouble you for too long and you should see your fab results soon!

I'm wide awake as my body clock hasn't adjusted yet to coming off nights. I'm knackered but can't sleep. Also perimenopausal and premenstrual I reckon.

Acid reflux. Been a bit worried to eat too much with it as it's so uncomfortable. Couldn't stand the hunger any longer so got up for a banana🤦‍♀️

Was awake after a bad dream and now my 6 year old has joined me with sore legs, I’m thinking growing pains? Never had these with my other children so thrown me a bit! He seems to have dropped off, starfished across my bed
