Jeans so tight I'm sure he'll never father children. High-pitched whiney singing in public. Bizarre headwear. What will be next?!

oh me too. Life isn't the same without it. It is one of the highlights of my day (I would never say that to anyone in RL!!!)

It's just so bad it's good. Or great, rather.

bathbuns · 06/07/2010 22:54

oh yes, and I thought it was so funny how Kate agonised over leaving Terry - her mentor, a father figure to her who had taught her so much. Um, you did two shows with him love.

Also hate the smug look on her face when she dances. To be fair to her I think she is probably a good contemporary dancer - the first few times she danced on Neighbours (including at the school dance! Spontaneously. So the floor cleared. While she expressed her feelings. Can you imagine how bullied she'd be if she did that in real life?) she did contemporary, and yet suddenly she's a show girl and the dancing doesn't suit her at all.

WhatShallMyNameBe · 06/07/2010 23:47

LOVE Kate's dancing, the routines all seem to revolve around sticking one leg out and wiggling the foot, then turning around walking two steps, turning around again, fiddle with a hat and extend the arms a little bit.

Also has Donna actually sold any Shrugaleros? The only person she has coaxed into one is Kate and that is for her dancing. None of the other neighbours have one.

vmcd28 · 07/07/2010 12:36

Re the shrugaleros - why are they always in hideous colours and patterns, and made of cheap polyester?!

anonacfr · 07/07/2010 16:04

OK I really don't understand this storyline.

How can Lynn get her daughter committed??? Steph is an adult and obviously not insane. I thought the next of kin thing applied if the person concerned was incapable of making a decision. (coma, psychotic breakdown etc.)

And it's not like Steph was doing anything crazy- she wasn't endangering herself, just going through a hell of a lot of pain.

Surely it's her pregnancy, her decision?

And wouldn't you just hate it if your mother showed up at all your routine appointments and butted in time and time again????

ChickensHaveNoEyebrows · 07/07/2010 16:14

Lynn has officially become a charicature of herself.

anonacfr · 07/07/2010 16:20

Completely.

I just don't get how Steph hasn't told her to eff off yet and instead has told her who the father of the baby really is.

And why has Lynn been so mean to Toadie? Ever since she's found out the truth she's treated him like dirt.
He gave up his relationship to help and protect Steph, and Lynn treats him like an enemy.

ChickensHaveNoEyebrows · 07/07/2010 16:24

I'm sure Lynn used to be quite a sympathetic character. Now she's always flapping about the place and dithering. Very irritating

vmcd28 · 07/07/2010 17:12

Lyn is dreadful! And what a dreadful actress too. Most of her acting is her whining, and her hairsrayed hair bouncing wildly.

extremelychocolateymilkroll · 08/07/2010 13:11

I agree about Lynn but she did have a good line that Toadie is only her fake boyfriend and she will always be her mother. Hardly credible that Steph is worried about the future wellbeing of Charlie and the baby. She endangers her life when she becomes pregnant and keeps the baby - was prepared to do this when she offered to be a surrogate for Libby - so hardly thinking of Charlie then. As for who would look after the kids - there's Lynn, Toadie or the rest of the street any of whom would make a better job of it than her.

Ringo's stalker ex girlfriend reminds me of Carmella.

EasilyConfusedIndith · 09/07/2010 15:57

Framed by a shrugalero, classic

WhatShallMyNameBe · 09/07/2010 23:15

vmcd28 I know the shrugalero truly is an eye sore and you wouldn't want to stand near a naked flame with one on.
