Sorry for shouting. Got a little excited there But seriously. I never knew it started today. Is this instead of or as well as the "normal" apprentice?

I'm working on making up writing my CV as I speak...

As DH pointed out though, this lot are only about 5 years younger than the adult ones!

maamalady · 12/05/2010 22:04

Sralan is not very good at doing sugary, ironically.

I hope beardy has better taste than to cop off with beret girl, she's scary

Rockbird · 12/05/2010 22:09

He'd better not cop off with anyone, his beard would rub off

CleanHankie · 12/05/2010 22:16

Rockbird - DH and I have just discussed the applicants wanted thing. Presume it's for next year. After all usually they ask for applicants at the end of the series which would usually finish now.

Rockbird · 12/05/2010 22:26

oh thank you! thank you!

I was resigned to it being on at Christmas...

braveandcrazy · 12/05/2010 22:27

to answer an early question the beeb wouldn't allow either this or the grown upversion during the election as he is biased.

GoingPostal · 12/05/2010 22:37

just finished catching up on sky+ and LOL LOL LOL at the bit from Zoe lecturing on how it's "quite well known" that wine and cheese go together, and how she had spoken to the wine stall guy "who was also aware of this". Trying soooo hard to be grown up (doing pretty well most of the time, I couldn't have run a stall selling cheese at 16) and then it all slips a bit!

good firing - right result. he was a rather shiny-suited young upstart.

maamalady · 12/05/2010 23:03

That bit was funny, wasn't it! Sralan did have an "aww, bless" expression on his face when she said that too

Ebb · 12/05/2010 23:43

Evilgiraffe I thought Jordon sounded like Graham Norton except in the car at the end when he sounded like Lloyd Grossman!

Did anyone else think Jordon looked like Sid the doll torturer from Toystory?

Notalone · 13/05/2010 09:15

Sorry - I know he is a minor but Jordan was beyond awful. At the beginning he was horrible to anyone who dared to question his judgement, and said he was "managing" the work rather than actually doing anything. He also had the face of a petulant spoilt child (which he was) and he was way too arrogant.

I am glad Hibah didn't go. I really felt she was like a lamb to the slaughter yesterday and I am sure Zoe would have stuck the boot in had it gone to the boardroom.

Am looking forward to next weeks episode now. My favourite so far is Emma - I hpe she goes far

candyfluff · 13/05/2010 10:23

CaurnieBred · 13/05/2010 10:26

I did like the fact that the fired kids get to leave in Sralun's Rolls rather than a black cab!

lisad123wantsherquoteinDM · 14/05/2010 00:25

I have sat and watched this tonight and agree Tim would have got my swoon on if i was younger Zoe is a PITA but good at what she does.
Am I the only one that cant stand Rhys? His face was like a stroppy child and he really wound me up.

LOL @ 10 teens in one house! and why with a house with 7 bedrooms are those girls all sharing?!

BigTillyMint · 14/05/2010 13:12

Notalone, you are so right about Jordan - so glad he went!

lisad, didn't a few of the "boys" share a room in the last series? I can't remember if the girls did too.
