Cant believe stephanie has just gone, that bloody mr bojangles, cant believe they made her sing it. She must be gutted. I had her in my final with danelle and lauren.

Thought Charlotte Church was absolutely dreadful singing with them all last week btw. Stephanie much, much better than her!

oh, and I'm in Scotland, and never vote for anyone because they're Scottish - really irritates me when they try to encourage the regional vote!

i was sobbing watching the results yesterday i thought stephanie was just brilliant but between her and steph, it was the right decision i definitely think its jess and sophie to go next week and dannielle to win she is just amazing!!

morecrackthanharlem i was looking into googling ALW's twitchy face last week and as far as i can tell theres speculation over parkinsons disease and thats about it! he does have some bizaare expressions and movements and does a movement similar to 'pill-rolling' with his mouth that is common in parkinsons sufferers. how sad and tragic would that be if it were true?
and at your DD i LOL'ed in work at that

I can't say Im surprised that Stephanie went-although she is a fantastic singer/actor/dancer she just wasn't dorothy.

I really really want Danielle to win...she is amazing and is just Dorothy if that makes sense? Just like Connie is Maria-am probably making no sense at all but I know what I mean! I liked Jess as well but I can see her in Chicago more than the Wizard of Oz!

she just is dorothy!! funny thing is, all these women are auditioning to play a part of a 12 year old girl and they are all too old!! it should have been younger girls for the audition IMO

isnt it two girls going next week? we might be rid of jess and sophie in one fell swoop

Glad someone else gets it as well...said it to my friend and she looked at me like I was mad and said "no she's not dorothy she's Danielle" at which point I gave up lol!

Id quite like to keep Jess in a bit longer but can we get rid of Sophie and the scottish one whose name I can't think of for some reason!

I think Charlotte Church has been great in this programme! Not only a great example of "looking better after the DCs" but really fair and enthusiastic.

I like Jess very much, but Danielle is Dorothy. I just can't warm to Lauren at all, though objectively I can see she is talented. I love Steph, she's my second choice for the role. Sophie and Jenny to go next week if I had my way. It really WOULD be so much better if they let you vote for who to go rather than who to stay.

I am a big Jess fan too and eek yes have voted for her. I wouldn't vote for her if she was she was really bad. Thought she was fab on Saturday.

Have to agree that Danielle is best for the role. Next would be Steph.

Danielle is my fave. Have never been keen on Lauren or Stephanie - fantastic voices, but they don't seem to be able to act imo.

Sophie and Jenny to go next - agree with that. Can't stand Jenny's voice.

Don't get the Danielle thing at all. Think she can often look awkward or self-conscious which makes it hard to relax when watching her. Think Steph is fantastic - has a great confident stage presence and seems to have a lovely natural personality. Sad to see Stephanie go as she only had one bad week and was fab every other time.

Jess to go (hopefully) along with Jenny. Then Sophie who is gorgeous but not good enough. I like Steph a lot - fab voice, lovely natural smile and v professional - but she isn't a popular choice with the voters. Not sure why - because she is of mixed race and the public are looking for a white Dorothy? Or am I being cynical?

oxocube- It puzzles me as to exactly why viewers vote the way they do.
I thought Steph was great on Saturday but not everyone thinks the same way.
I also don't agree with the "I cannot warm to x or they come across as too confident" statements.
Since when did anyone look forward to going to see a live performance and hope that the lead charcaters would become overcome with nerves and lack the confidence to actually put on a fantastic show?

Now how can Lauren be in the bottom 2? Doesn't make sense. Was disappointed in Steph last night after the first elimination, when they all had stand in a line and sing something from the WOO. She just sang it, rather than acted it (or SOLD it as Sheila Hancock would say!) Wish Jess would stop all the mad eyed stuff - its the same with every song.

Did anyone else think the Charlotte Church song was v ordinary (even though I like her as a mum/celeb etc)?

And even though Sophie isn't one of my favourites, why did they give her such a pants song to sing in the first part of the show?

Yeah the Dorothy dress is always the same but she also always wears something pink for her performance too. Not a big deal - just would like to see her look a bit different.

I think the producers try to engineer the vote by giving the worst song to the person they think (or ALW thinks) should go. It's all a fit-up, hence Sophie getting crap song, Stephanie getting Bo Jangles etc.

Not that I'm cynical...

I think CC threw in her classical career ages ago.

She actually said, I think on the Jonathan Ross show before the series started, that she started out being classically trained, but she 'probably should go back and do it again' at some point, from which I gathered she hadn't kept up her training or practise.

I do like her, but I thought the song was a bit odd and she struggled a bit - but I've never been impressed with her crossover stuff (have never heard anything classical by her, though).

I agree about the voting; it's not like Strictly, where it's all a laugh and doesn't really matter who wins - but whoever wins this will be leading a West End show, fgs, and it shouldn't matter if you don't like their chin or they come from your province - it's a huge deal for whoever wins (or doesn't win but should have).
