Watching this and I'm so impressed by his achievement. Really moving when he explained his motivation for everything - death of his mother when he was 6. Uplifting and sad at the same time.

The facebook group have now upped their demands, they want him knighted! Can you imagine- "arise Sir Eddie of Izzard" Do you think he'd go in drag?

I agree about it being bloody disgraceful that this man's achievement was hidden away with very little publicity.

i found the show by chance and was completely bowled over by him. What a man!

Love him even though he's 18 years older then me such a strong minded person!

I know such a shame the BBC didn't shout about it more.

Meanwhile, Tiger Woods having an affair, now that really deserved to be the lead item on the news though .
