Seeing as how we only have a few weeks to wait now!
I have Season 7 synopsis here it's only a short recap of episodes but it was enough to remind me of a few things I had forgotten!

Namely Tony being 'good' all along and wanting revenge for (pregnant) Michelle, and Renee going into the interogation room with a very 'Jack' expression on to 'ersuade' Wilson to confess. Oh, and in the dull presidential bits that's skanky moo daughter getting in the shit for ordering a hit. (hey, that rhymes!)
So, anyone know when it is starting on Sky? In US I think it's the 17th so we would normally get it on the 24th and 25th but can't find listings!

The casting is appalling, seriously, did they purposely cast a 12 yr old as the only other agent so that we would know they had to bring Jack back in in return for Renee?
I could write this fuckign script.

it goes, Jack (now in charge of 12 yr old, plus team of agents who will look older but apparently can't be put in charge of wiping their own arses) will find naughty brother just in time for him to get fatally shot and give Jakc a vital name. Jack then goes dark after being ordered back to CTU as the 12 yr old can't be trusted not to wander off down the arcades instead of searching for the bomb and finds the baddies, stops the bomb and saves the world.
Again.

I swear to god, if it is that simple I am never watching 24 again.

Keep the faith, Jack, we are only a few episodes in! I agree with you re: the script so far, I really hope they throw in a huge twist in the next couple of weeks.

I remember the good old days of being so tense watching the action and never trusting that anyone was dead because the script would throw so many curve balls... sigh.

Oh the twist must be coming up.
Someone will have to die soon too... well someone we care about anyway.

Do we think the Dana plot is over with now? What are they going to do about the ex? Surely they cant take him to hospital? Will they have to put him out of his misery? That stab wound looked pretty bad... although Jack would have shrugged it off

SO bored of Renee. The whole Jack-is-back-to-save-Renee is just absurd. He walks in and assaults a Justice Department representative appointed by the WHITE HOUSE and gets away with it?

They only have 2 team leaders at CTU- Cole and a 12 year old?

Grrrr. I can't believe 24 used to be my fave show.

They killed off the only 2 good characters (Russian baddy/ Russian son). Who's left now....

it's just all bollocks at the moment isn't it? So many holes. And as if he would threaten that Justice woman, Jack isn't that deficient to not realise that it would not be a good idea.

I have to admit Jack annoyed me so much in that episode I was cheering when he finally got tasered.

I miss George Mason....

I can't believe I was so looking forward to Renee coming back for this season.

I only liked Chappelle when Jack shot him in the head.

George was my hero ever since he did the impression of Tony in Season 1. I'm still waiting for someone to post that on YouTube...

That cake is gorgeous. DD1 (4.1, who is on my lap with consumption or soemthing equally drastic) says it's 'very pretty and nice'

The best part of 24 this week? Was the episode of House immediately after where house screams at a drug-dealer patient's buddy "WHERE ARE THE GOODS!?!" and when asked why he says, "well, it always works for Jack Bauer".

DH and I had to rewind and watch it again.

We are still watching Jack religiously but it's hard when not one of the characters, good or bad, are even slightly appealing. Tony needs to break out of traitor's prison just so we can get some good vibes back. They always kill off the most interesting people to watch - do you think Kiefer doesn't like people to be as popular as him? The only reason Chloe continues to survive is because she's so freaking irritating.

Where's the genuine action? The moral choices? The sense of urgency? There's NONE of that this season.

Dh says he is enjoying this season but I think it is misplaced desire to want to rather thana ctually enjoying it.
I lvoed the whole Renee thing but that is done for now....agree with needing Tony back, there are no 'Good' baddies right now.

I was waiting for the bomber to blow up the 12 year old agent.
He seemed doomed when Jack told him everyone had his back and everything would be OK.

The Dana and Cole thing is just pathetic.

Apparently this is officially the last season. I'm hoping Jack will have a good death a la Mason to redeem his fast sinking character...

Right. Right, I may have finally found my thread on MN. I am a great big 24 fan. And I love Rene. Have never loved another Jack-Lady. Can't even remember their names. But I love Rene.

Who is the hidden mole in this series? Aylo? (Hmmm... is that the right name?)

My favourite scene so far... Jack hanging from pipes pretending to be dead, then two-legged neck grip on Bad Man. Lesson there.. don't turn your back on Jack, you fool.

Can you imagine if Jack survived all this and then suddenly died by, erm, choking on a sandwich or something?

I hope its not a happy ending
