It would have been more helpful if this had been on about a month ago. Am enjoying it though.

Lapsedrunner · 08/12/2009 20:30

I agree, enjoying it but it's too late!

who decorates their kitchen?

Surely it's a PITA and a fire hazard? Unless you have a huge kitchen

ssd · 08/12/2009 22:01

feel suicidal after watching this the looking round my tiny squashed house

mojomama · 08/12/2009 22:03

god she's annoying: who says "hice" and "waah" when they mean house and wire?! brought the scrooge out in me i'm afraid!

SexOnFire · 08/12/2009 22:05

I'll take your tiny squahed house and raise you a tiny squashed flat. The salt dough decoratiopns are great though. I'm been making cackhandedly little Christmas pudding bainted balls to geive my family as presents this year. They look halfway between cute and crap

stealthsquiggle · 08/12/2009 22:05

DH put it on just to wind me up.

"how you can have a fabulous home-made Christmas if you happen to be a multi-millionaire with loads of time on your hands and lots of staff"

..and the cakes were rubbish [sticks tongue out]

SexOnFire · 08/12/2009 22:06

Or maybe just crap.

ssd · 08/12/2009 22:16

I knew there was something I forgot to get for Xmas - a second house in the country

silly me

galletti · 08/12/2009 22:34

dd and I watched it an dd (9) she loved it, and so did I, although we are a bit silver here - all Christmassy and that - and at the end of it she said words to the effect of 'easy for her to do that with a tv company and lots of money'. But we are doing salt dough decs at the weekend cos the ones we did years ago have gone all soggy - why does that happen Kirsty?

Katisha · 08/12/2009 22:44

Were you not inspaahed by the bending of waah in front of the faah?

Sherbert37 · 09/12/2009 10:22

Salt dough novice here - do you have to cook them?

TheGoatofChristmasPast · 09/12/2009 10:26

i am loving the penny saving idea of blowing your own glass ornaments.

NorbertDentressangle · 09/12/2009 10:28

DP suggested I try my hand at the rather impressive foliage garland to wind around our bannisters....I gave him a withering look

babster · 09/12/2009 10:28

I caught the end of it - she's going to be hoovering up a lot of pine needles (or rather, the woman who 'does' will)

TheGoatofChristmasPast · 09/12/2009 10:30

did anyone else notice she has a 'favourite' forester.

also the forestry commission should shout at her for encouraging folk to head out with a hack saw to help themselves to christmas trees.

serajen · 09/12/2009 13:37

she's way too precious for me, I'm afraid, used to love Location .... but not anymore

cheesesarnie · 09/12/2009 13:49

im in love with kirsty.i want to spend christmas at hers

Jux · 09/12/2009 13:56

dd loved it (I didn't see it). She has hacked out two satsumas so far and is asking for clay. What is she going to do?

cheesesarnie · 09/12/2009 13:57

shes making a clay shrine to kirstie
