DS Balamory, Fimbles and the music bit of Tweenies
My favourite Yoho Ahoy, yoho? Ahoy! People at work believe with good reason I've lost it when I slip into this mode of response.

maybe you arnt all as old as me but...dont you think its odd watching programmes like noddy etc now they are 'done up'!!! I have got used to them now

sarah259 · 20/06/2005 12:52

We (me and dh) love Blue Cow and Bits & Bobs - relegated to Sunday afternoons...don't know why! DD loves, and I mean loves the Tweenies especially the opening and closing credits and she's really enjoyable to watch dancing. Agree will all who dislike...more like hate, Sarah-I'm-a-star-just-waiting-for-my-big-break-Jane in Tikkabilla, yuk, yuk, yuk. Quite like 64 Zoo Lane but me and dh can't understand how Georgina the giraffe's neck is so long when Lucy slides down it at the beginning but is surprisingly short during the prog. Balamory keeps her attention as does Big Cook Little Cook. DH would like to send them to the firing squad (it's hot, hot, hot!) . Hi 5 (failed would-be popstars) are bearable, even with their annoying, squeaky voices.

jolou1 · 20/06/2005 12:58

Has anyone seen Tikabilla's Sarah Jane in the Availablecar.com commericial in the Midlands? Very amusing. I'm dealing with an absolute new Fireman Sam obsession in our house. I wouldn't mind it if Sam wasn't so bloody sanctimonious. But then it's not mean't for a cynical old 35yr old!

mandyc66 · 20/06/2005 13:04

poor Sarah Jane it seems she isnt very popular...have you seen her shoes!!!!!!

robin3 · 20/06/2005 13:34

Lizzzzzie.......Bagpuss is back....on Milkshake Channel 5...not sure what time but between 0630 and 0800. And Rubharb and Custard.

bighug · 20/06/2005 20:25

Peppa Pig (on Milkshake) as far as I'm concerned beats everything hands done. DS (4) and DD (2) love it too. I think Tikkabilla is fantastic too, but S-J does my head in (that stage school singing voice!)

calcium · 20/06/2005 22:05

big hug I agree Peppa Pig is the buisness I even contacted Milkshake to find out where to get the PP T-shirts the Milkshake girls were wearing... unfortunately they were just for promotional uses only. I also like Ebb and Flo very sweet stories, calming music and nice graphics and dd1 loves Funky Valley have to say I like it too.

I LOATHE the tweenies but then I suppose I'm not 3 ha ha...

HappyDaddy · 21/06/2005 09:19

TikkaBilla, Rubberdubbers, Razzledazzle and Balamory. Of course I only see them because dd likes them, (cough).

edhj69 · 21/06/2005 12:02

Just saw posting about Tikkabilla's (Play School by any other name) Sarah Jane being in adverts. has anyone seen TB's Simon in the ad where he's had a heart attack - should give up all the funny tummy food.

sallycinnamon · 21/06/2005 13:26

Any grown woman who wears her hair like Sarah Jane deserves all the criticism she gets! Can't bloody stand the woman although DH seems to go a bit fuzzy when she comes on the screen.... DD adores teletubbies and Balamory and tikkabilla. I love Blue Cow and think Pingu is hilarious.

mandyc66 · 21/06/2005 20:20

mm I have a friend who thinks she is really lovely!!!!

helsy · 21/06/2005 21:11

I LOVE Blue Cow "everybody KNOWS cows can't go to the moon" and the Bob-bob-bob-in-ogs.

DH detests Big Cook Little Cook and has a very rude song he sings to their theme tune that goes "Big cook, little cook, they're a pair of ........." not in front of the children, obviously. Oh, and "Barney is a dinosaur he's big and fat and rubbish". He also dislikes Dizzy from Bob the Builder because apparently she's a whinger. Bit worried about DH.......

ThePrisoner · 21/06/2005 21:40

When Little Cook goes zooming off on his wooden spoon, it looks like he has A Builder's Bottom (it's just his belt and top of his trousers but once you've seen it, you just can't not notice!!!) We watch it just for this ... oh, and the dance routine when they clean up ... how sad are we ...

Mandymoo · 27/06/2005 15:09

Love Maggie and The Ferocious Beast, Dora the Explora and Max and Ruby

Dont mind BIg Cook Little cook, Angelina Ballerina

As for DD - she'll watch whatevers on!!!!

billa · 29/07/2006 20:44

64 Zoo Lane is fab.
Peppa Pig is great but they have a new voice for Peppa and it isn't right.

multitasker · 09/09/2006 23:13

Colditz - your theme tune was spot on. My three love it - not sure if they've noticed her new voice. Youngest loves Balamory and High 5.
My fave - from about ahem 30 years ago was Mr Ben - does anyone remember? Also big Bod fan.
