My favourite is Tikkabilla, Justin is great with all those silly faces, aint he?

I don't like Franklin and his perfect parents who are always sooo reasonable!
we had it in French, before it came to the UK, and the French voices are particularly goodygoody.

ssd · 18/06/2005 09:12

I think Chickle Vision is funny! Sad or what!

emily05 · 18/06/2005 09:42

Ds LOVES thomas the tank. He also like Barney (yuck) and Dora. I think if I had to name one that I like it is probably Dora

kate100 · 18/06/2005 09:49

I love Justin on Tikkabilla, but DH thinks that Sarah Jane's clothes are too tight for children's TV.

DS loves Bob and gets upset when it's not on at the weekend, DH has explained this by telling him that Bob does foreigners at the weekend and doesn't want the BBC to know, who is the bigger kid?

basketcase · 18/06/2005 09:52

DD1 - Ninja Turtles, Start Wars, Dr Who (only 4... bad parent alert..)
DD2 - Teletubbies everytime
Dh -Blue Cow (he sings the theme tune round the house all the time, bless)
me - Pingu. End up watching it on my own though as the rest just don?t get the subtle innocent humour....

trinityrocks · 18/06/2005 13:30

I LOVE Peep and the big wide world, Quack makes me giggle!!!!!!

CheekyGirl · 18/06/2005 21:41

I love Tikkabilla too, but loathe Sarah Jane as well. I'm not a violent person, but for some reason I really want to slap her. I'm glad I'm not the only one.

Also love Dora, Balamory, Come Outside, Pingu, Story Makers.....actually, there's not much I don't like. I often find myself watching when dd has lost interest. I'm so sleep deprived, they kind of match my mental age level...........

toothyboy · 18/06/2005 22:09

It's that false smile and overly cheerful manner I think, Cheekygirl - you slap one cheek and I'll get the other!! I particularly dislike her when she's singing "What's it like to be a ... in the jungle"!!!

colditz · 18/06/2005 22:28

Pingu and Hoobs are the only ones I allow on a regular basis, as all the others make me want to gouge my eyes out.

mandyc66 · 18/06/2005 22:44

we went through a hoobs phase I love it. My 14 year old started a hoobs thing at school!!! All teenagers were watching!!lol

TwinSetAndPearls · 18/06/2005 23:42

Boogie Beebies, not for the programme but I peek though the door and watch dd dance along.

mandyc66 · 18/06/2005 23:44

my mum likes boogie beebies. she thinks it good gentle exercise for someone her age!!!

jinglybits · 19/06/2005 00:00

i love love love pingu!! its my dvd ds is watching! ...wondering if i'm bringing him into a confused state! he hasn't really started talking yet and pingu is all 'mmmnnn mjoka colly wah' 'mmmm deparpelysolwah' ...perhaps it is a discernable language but i'm am too old and of withered brain to fathum it!

mandyc66 · 19/06/2005 06:50

my ds4 is watching The Hoobs!! Ds3 playing with playdough though. He only seems to want tv when he is a bit sleepy

Flummoxed · 19/06/2005 14:14

We love Funky Valley - hilarious, love Pingu and Blue Cow (Dh and I btw!!)

DS2 (2) loves Funky Valley, Bob, Storymakers, Roly Mo, Thomas etc.

DS3 (6 months) loves anything his brother is watching.

And DS1 doesn't really like childrens programmes cos he is 11! He loves Dr Who!

New here btw! Hello!

drdad · 19/06/2005 20:23

Good: Fireman Sam, Yoho Ahoy and the sadly underexposed at the moment Shiny Show

Indifferent: Tweenies, Balamory, Smarteenies

Atrocious: Step Inside, Fimbles, Clifford

Flummoxed · 19/06/2005 20:52

Oh forgot to say Boobahs scares the living daylights out of ds2....well it used to, haven't been cruel enough to find out recently.

Flummoxed · 19/06/2005 20:53

I think that's how you spell it

mandyc66 · 19/06/2005 20:56

hi flummoxed!!!
I hat the boobahs and wont let anyone watch it!!!
Only seen it once whats all that Mr MAn and Mrs Lady stuff all about? They remind me of Joe Brand in fur fabric!!!!

moonunit · 19/06/2005 21:25

me and ds love Kipper the dog, nick jr has stopt showing it now tho, good job we've got it on video.

mandyc66 · 19/06/2005 21:29

I like kipper books!!! I used to like spot too.

moonunit · 19/06/2005 22:33

ooh yes, we love spot the dog too, just seen in my bookclub there's a new book out, celebrating 25yrs of spot, i did'nt realise he had been around that long.

mandyc66 · 19/06/2005 22:36

thats a bit scary!!!
25 years!!! they seemed quite new once!!!! lol!!!
might have to get that one!!

Lizzzzzie · 20/06/2005 00:09

My little man loves Yoho Ahoy, Tikabilla and fave of faves right now... Smarteenies (or as he calls it - Smartweenies, bless him)

I know Yoho isnt terribly educational but he talks really well for a 2 year old and a bit of lighthearted fun never did anyone any harm.

I love Tikabilla and Smarteenies. Gordon the Garden Gnome is quite sweet too for a new prog.

Bring back Bagpuss, Mr Benn and Pipkins - ahh those were the days xx

bambino1 · 20/06/2005 06:46

I love Balamory, The Hoobs and Clifford the Big Red Dog! All of these are the one my dd gets really excited about!
