I love watching CBeebies and have watched it for years, well before I had my LO.

I like watching Me Too and wondered what the relationship dynamics between the characters were. Does anyone know?

Granny Murray looks after a number of children, including Lisa, Rebecca, Kai, Jack and a dog, belonging to Dr. Juno.

Lisa, who sometimes gets dropped off there by either Tina the cab driver or Raymond the buffet car manager. I presume Tina and Raymond are a couple.

Jack gets dropped off by his dad Rudi, the blind guy who runs the market stall, there is mention of Louie, who plays on the riverboat with another girl Chuck, I presume Rudi and Louie are an item, but n ot sure if she's Jack's mum?

Dr. Juno, who owns the dog, always mentions Chuck as being her friend, are they in fact a Lesbian couple?

Rebecca is the daughter of Micky John the teacher, is he a single dad? Never any sign of her mother.

Kai's mum is Bobbie, who cleans the buses, I presume she's a single mum too? As she often drops Kai off to Granny Murray's when she works the night shift.

Well I think you're correct about all of them, don't know about the lesbian couple though.

I think you have the gist....though I'm not sure about the lesbian couple. All you need to know about Me Too is that it's very weird for a variety of reasons...

• Granny Murray is no one's granny, wears the same cardigan everyday and is just creepy. I mean, would you leave your child with her?
• Tina and Raymond are the most unlikely couple ever. She looks old enough to be his mother!
• Dr. Juno never does any work. And why would you take your dog to a childminders?

I know one shouldn't go around accusing new posters of being trolls all the time, but really, are you real?

If Dr Juno worked in a real hospital she would have been sacked long ago.

I am not sure if Granny Murray's hours comply with the working time directive - day shift with assorted children and dog, followed by night shift with Kai.

Rudi has been known to visit Bobbie on her night shift - is there something going on with them? Also she does an awful lot of singing and not much cleaning imo.

and did you really watch it before you had a child?

I also find Granny Murray rather creepy, thought it was just me and yes, noticed she always wears the same clothes everytime. She put Kai to bed in the living room and the following morning, still had the same stripy cardi and baggy skirt on.

I wonder how Rudi manages to select his fruit, I guess he must have help and the amount of freebies Tina gives the other characters in her cab, it's a wonder she makes any money. I too think Raymond and Tina are a strange couple, he looks very camp in that weird outfit he turns up in to drop Lisa off.

Dr Juno works in that huge Harlequin hospital, where she only has 2 other members of staff working with her.

And yes, before I had my baby I used to spend whole Saturday's watching CBeebies, I love the innocence of it all. My faves are Tweenies, Big Cook Little Cook, Mister Maker and Tikkabilla.

I think you've given it more thought than the writers of the show

All I can say is that this programme makes me feel actually physically sick and simultaneously very very angry. Really.

I am convinced that Raymond is gay and in a marriage of convenience to Tina. She is definately so much older than him too.
I am prety sure I have heard Mickey John mention Rebecca's mum ocasionally so maybe the childminder is just on his way.

Mind you a commute to work that takes you passed the Armadillo in Glasgow, Edinburgh castle, on the Metro, and past the Gherkin in London must be a bloody fast walker/cyclist/bus.

And Dr Juno doesn't actually do any work in the hospital she prods a tummy and gets someone else to see to it that woman really rips my knitting

Really Fatti. I really can't stand Raymond and the way he loves being him and working in that stupid buffet car on the train.

I do love to sing the opening song to my baby and the going to work song, he seems to like it.

Yep, that song Raymond sings is truly dreadful. There's some line like 'I love being me, I'll make you cheese on toast". Wtf???

The whole show is like it's been written the day before filming by some 12 years olds, no-one can act, all the songs are unspeakably terrible (especially that one the freaky feather-boa-wearing taxi driver sings [shudder]), and the whole city is so dreary and depressing. How it ever got commissioned I will never understand.

I don't know why but the whole programme conjures up the smell of school or hospital dinners to me - boiled carrots and mashed potato. Think that's why I feel sick when I see it.

The tram always seems to be going to Eccles in Manchester and Manchester Picadilly station, even though they're supposed to be in Edinburgh.

I thought Dr Juno and Chuck were in a relationship, because Chuck and Louie were flying to France to do a gig and Dr Juno had her suitcase at the hospital, Tina collected it. There was another episode when Dr Juno was looking lovingly at a photo of Chuck, wich she keeps on her desk.

Tina is actually a man in drag and is father to all of the children's characters on the show.

Bobby doesn't really clean buses all night as she wouldn't earn enough to pay for a childminder overnight and pay for her earrings and haor accessories. She actually is a stripper and derobes whilst Chuck and Louie play.

Sampson has to go to Granny Murray's whilst Dr Juno goes to work as it's a condition of her bail - she was found guilty of animal neglect as she left him home alone reading her fan mail, and he tried to chew his own foot off as he was so bored.

I've been meaning to start an AIBU thread about this for ages, along the lines of 'AIBU to think this childminder is being overly familiar'. Granny Murray, as you say, is not actually related to any of these people yet insists upon being called Granny. She always has a piece of advice that miraculously comes in handy the same day (I suspect she may be spying on them. Or psychic), she calls everyone 'Honey-Pie' bleurrgh.

I can't stand Tina either, does she really talk like that or is she putting on that stupid voice because it's a children's programme?

DD likes it though.

Bobbie has to clean all those double decker buses inside and out, but always seems to be sitting down in the office, cartwheeling or planning on going to the shop at 11pm to get Kai a present. Surely in this day and age, buses go through a bus wash and all she'd be required to do, is pick up rubbish on the bus.

Is Rudy blind then? I just assumed he had a slight turn in one eye.

Yes he lost his sight when he was younger and in real life is a stand up comedian.

I love tikkabilla too! But what were you doing up at 6am pre children?? It's completely classic children's TV to me.

Me Too depresses me - only in the last few weeks! Prefer balamory but why does that woman have a reputation for 'good cookin' when what she cooks looks like slop? And what is the last line of the song? "Come in, sit down, we're having a food (scrum?)"

Yes Tina talks like that she used to be in Rab C Nesbitt and it was her voice I recognised first nails on blackboard anyone?
I have to confess that when raymond sings "I love my train" I sing under my breath I am a gay sorry I know awful but seriously come on him and Tina?????
