Any other saddos like me ridiculously excited about the return of the X factor this eve?

She is the perfect X Factor contestant, sob story, mother, young, pretty and can sing. Wonder how many time she'll say "I just want to make my little boy proud of me"?

Yes, very cynical! I just hate the way they use that music and get people to pull on the old heart strings. She hasn't said that yet, but she will and no matter how genuine it is the X Factor team will do there best to make it look false and forced.

I have only just managed to catch up with this- i love X-factor, but don't like the live audience bit. I don't like the fact they have a backing track, it really ruin it somehow.
Poor Lithuanian girls- do you think they saw themselves as the cheeky girls?

And i didn't like the way they used the Susan Boyle - alike 'didn't think you 'd sing like THAT!" bit with Stacy.

But i will be here, every Saturday night , hooked , as usual...

It does make me quite nostalgic that it's on again...this time last year I was walking round our old house, massively pregnant, wondering what on earth I was about to experience (if my baby ever decided to show up). Now my beautiful DS is nearly 1 and a total handful and very lovely.

It irritates me when we don't get to hear some ofthe acts that have got through.

With this new audition format, they won't have angry families storming into the audition room saying it just aint fair that their PFB isn't being put through.
