Very sad. They wound me up from the beginning by smoking when pregnant.

Did anyone notice on the form where it said religion?

herbgarden · 10/08/2009 21:58

It's not a teenage pregnancy thing though poshwellies - I'm sure there are some responsible teenagers out there who get pregnant and make great mothers....I'm not sure it matters what age this lot are when they get pregnant - you only need to take a look at their own parents.

lilymolly · 10/08/2009 21:59

thats flat was awful, do people really live like that?

herbgarden · 10/08/2009 22:00

Her names Fay May?

Now they hae implants....bit bloody late for that isn't it?

sweetkitty · 10/08/2009 22:03

Utterly depressing

You just know where those little baby girls are going to be in 15-16 years time, in teh same place it's just a cycle

hippipotamiHasLost55lbs · 10/08/2009 22:03

The one with the hood was quite cute once she was out from underneath the hood. I hope she manages to turn her life around.

As for the other two - words fail me, particularly Stacey. The way she had filled in that form
And the two brothers Andy and David - oh dearry me.....

hippipotamiHasLost55lbs · 10/08/2009 22:04

I missed Stacey's baby's name - it was not really Fay May was it

lilymolly · 10/08/2009 22:04

I dont think I have ever seen anything quite so sad in my life.

Feel even worse when my little 19 week old son is living a wonderful life and will have all the opportunitites in the world and those babies will not have any

TheWiltedRose · 10/08/2009 22:04

God I fell pregnant at 16 but even im ashames att their attitudes and thoughraly depresed after atching that. Its girls with attitudes like that why people used to look at me in the street like i was something under here shoe. We all get tarred with the same brush

TheWiltedRose · 10/08/2009 22:05

Sorry about typing my laptop is dying a slow and sticky death!

northender · 10/08/2009 22:07

Those babies have less than no chance of a decent life. The most depressing thing I've seen for ages.

hippipotamiHasLost55lbs · 10/08/2009 22:09

I agree, it made me feel very very sad... And so true about the cycle just continuing, no matter how adamant the girls are their babies will ahve a better life, it is unlikely to happen.
Horrid.

Trikken · 10/08/2009 22:29

I was 19 but I was shocked at their behaviour, and their language. plus some of the comments they came out with were awful, especially about stopping smoking before being induced, shouldnt she have stopped as soon as she realised she was pregnant really?

mooseloose · 10/08/2009 22:41

Might put some teenagers off having babies though.

MuffinToptheMule · 10/08/2009 22:50

I've just watched this programme and feel truly sorry for those children. When I refer to children I am referring to the 3 girls. They are only 15/16 years old. It all comes down to 'education, education, education'.
As for the 26 year old boyfriend. He is a paedophile.

TiggyR · 11/08/2009 09:54

I sat with my jaw on the floor through the entire thing. I have never seen a programme that deserves the label car crash TV quite as much as this one. How utterly utterly depressing. They will be whining in a few years time that they wanted to go to college all along, they were going to be teachers or lawyers, and none of it was there fault, just unfortunate timing, and now they can't get a job because no qualifications and can't afford the childcare. What gets me with these people is the way that they are so matter of fact about jacking in school because it was crap, boring, they learnt nothing important, or they were kicked out for fighting and hitting teachers with chairs, but but then they have the gall to look disappointed and bewildered when told that the Army requires you to have some qualifications!

Becki (the one who was so insistent that she hated babies and would never get pregnant) looked thoroughly fed up, and didn't even like the father much any more, but was still going ahead with the baby because 'I can't do anything about it now, can I?'

These people talk such utter crap. I'm not sure who they are trying to fool, us or themselves.

Actually, hoodie girl, whilst on the one hand was a violent out of control nightmare, did have something quite charming about her and she seemed genuinely more intelligent and clued up than the others. I can't believe how great she looked at the end. Perhaps there is some hope......please god.

TiggyR · 11/08/2009 10:00

And as for the sister - was she even human? She was 19 and pregnant with her second child. Her two year old appeared to live with (I think) his paternal granny, and she's no longer with the father. Yet she's doing it again...........Who would even want to sleep with her? And why did every single person in that programme (except hoodie girl)have strange coloured teeth and filthy minging fingernails? Urgh. God it was like watching something about the third world. Let's start offering these girls financial incentives (or giving them vouchers for clothes etc) if they sign up to contraceptive implants. Jesus, anything, just to make it stop.

tiredemma · 11/08/2009 10:05

I found it really distubing to watch. I was horrified.

The hoodie girl presents herself as someone with an emerging Personality Disorder.

Utterly depressing.
