queen Katie had all the dentistry work and tattoo done when they were in the states last year not this year so she wasn't pg then.

This trip to the states she did nothing and that was a problem for her, to see pete doing what he loves and her not to have a say in it.

I saw chris moyles interview with Pete and he was a gentleman, he wouldn't speak about the break up only to say that they were over for good and he would always love her because of the kids

monkeytrousers · 13/07/2009 09:03

Okay lets try that again and see if it escapes the web equivalent of the Stasi black pen.

Wow, the misandry (hatred of men) by some posters on this thread is palpable.

izyboy · 13/07/2009 09:55

As was said yesterday, PA was hardly going to have a difficult interview with Moyles at the helm and he would have been well advised to keep 'trap shut' especially after KP revealed the mc. Not sure what you are on about mt, certainly I for one like men as much as women but in these circs I think PA is being calculating abd the evidence for superdad status is scanty - a few photo ops and a bit of verbal that's all.

grimalkin · 13/07/2009 12:37

I didn't watch interview but read some posts and would like to comment on her use of the word termination. I had a miscarriage some years back which was devastating for me and my husband. The doctor kept referring to it as an abortion as that is the medical term. This shocked my husband. The doctor kept apologising for the slip but I said it was okay as I knew it was the medical term. The same thing happened more recently when my mum who has heart failure saw the words Annorexic on her file - this is the medical term for being underweight. Unlike me my mum was very upset by this reference. And her reaction is more normal than mine as I am on the Asperger spectrum and am used to looking at things in black and white.

Which leads to my second observation. I sometimes wonder whether Katie Price is on the Asperger spectrum because of her monotonous speech blank expression and 'seemingly' unemotional response (commented on in earlier posts). It is more difficult for females to receive a diagnosis and they are often seen as being loonies (Bjork would be another possible candidate in my books).

tegan · 13/07/2009 13:58

The peter and moyles interview was before the katie interview

izyboy · 13/07/2009 14:25

Kind of know what you mean Grimalkin, it may also be because she suffers depression and/or very used to supressing emotion as a survival tool. This is all pure speculation of course, that just may be her 'manner'. I did laugh, flicking through the tabs yesterday in a cafe, when I kept coming across 'friends' of Andre commenting on her 'behaviour' and his supposed outrage at the revelations. He does not have to comment directly in the media, the 'close friends' do that for him.

TimeForMe · 13/07/2009 14:27

grimalkin I have thought exactly the same thing for a long time. My suspicions were even more roused when Katie and Peter were on the pod thing, like the London eye. Peter was really taking everything in but Katie showed no emotion at all. When he asked her how she could fail not to be taken in by the amazing views she replied that it (the view) was nice but she didn't know what she was supposed to feel.

spicemonster · 13/07/2009 14:31

Struggling to see any misandry on this thread MT (although thanks for the definition ) - I think Dittany was (quite rightly) trying to redress the balance on this thread wherein KP is portrayed as a heartless harlot and PA as a kind and much put upon saint.

tegan, I think that queen was referring to the crown falling off her tooth and visiting the dentist the day before they returned to the UK this year.

The crown fell off and she had to have it fixed before a beach photoshoot, the dentist did it for her, as he had a machine that could make it on site (can you tell I was concentrating?) The next day, she complained to everyone around her that it had been designed wrongly and wasn't 'sticking out enough', which it could well have been correct. She got her manager to insist that she have an appointment with him that evening before they fly back to the UK. She had it removed again and another one applied.

I'm pretty sure that I recall she had G.A for it. I remember thinking she must be so fed up with the whole situation that she just wants to sleep for an hour or so and have some peace from it all! It's unusual to have G.A for dentistry when it's just one tooth. So was she recovering from losing the baby then? Knowing how neurotic litigous, some patients in the US are, it would have been likely that the dentist there would have done x-rays before and after everything he did too. General anaesthesia and radiation when you're recovering from a termination, about to fly long-haul, play polo on Saturday, then run the Marathon on the Sunday? I'd love some of that energy. She must have been exhausted if it's true.

I also remember that she'd said to the dentist at the previous day's appointment that she had put on 10lbs and pulled up her top, asking him if it showed or not (how to make a professional respect you )

None of it makes sense.

izyboy · 13/07/2009 15:01

mm in that case it must feel like a double blow, you lose your hubby and manager/ trusted colleague/friend both turning on you at the same time.

izyboy · 13/07/2009 15:06

Bits I 've read have 'close friends' of Andre revealng that they both agreed never to talk about the mc. So it appears nobody is denyng that it happened. Whether or not the sequence of events makes sense on an edited programme doesnt really surprise me.

imbored · 13/07/2009 15:27

it is appearing to me there is only one person carrying on this thread

KittyBigglesworth · 13/07/2009 15:28

'close friends' ha,ha. The PR team they pay to keep them in the media everyday.

It's not the sequence of events that doesn't make sense, it's her! Whether it's edited or not, the day before they fly back to the UK remains the same.

If I was being harsh, I would say that she's taking the British public for fools, if I was being more kind, that she needs some sort of therapy.

Not a Peter Andre supporter either. He wears clown shoes.

izyboy · 13/07/2009 16:56

I am stuck at home with 2 kids asleep on the sofa 'cos thy have been awake at night with D&V, I like to take a break now and then. So what's your excuse imbored? You seem to like popping up occasionally to have a little bitch, but have nothing interesting to say. Kitty at least you are trying to be impatial lol!

izyboy · 13/07/2009 16:56

impartial

monkeytrousers · 13/07/2009 16:59

Well I happen to disagree SM. And the world still turns.

And I never attampt to strike out what people say, even if I do percieve it to be a personal 'attack'. Like such a thing is possible on an anonymous site.

monkeytrousers · 13/07/2009 17:01

Please can you define 'passive agressive' please?

imbored · 13/07/2009 20:08
