There's a documentary on the PRB just after the programme's on tonight.

Ok it's getting really silly now...

But very enjoyable!

It is shite BUT very enjoyable shite.

And aesthetically very pleasing too.

I'm noticing a Sex in the City similarity.

Rossetti is Samantha, obviously

Millais is Carrie

Hunt is Charlotte

Fred is Miranda.

I am fascinated by the lives of the women, i.e Lizzie, Annie, Effie, more so than the artists.

If it weren't for the women then it could be any non-specific group of anti-establishment artists all sleeping with each others women but I suppose that's the point they're making.

Well - apparently, according to dp (who is constantly harking on about her absence from series) it all started with Christina Roseetti.
She was the one with the long red hair and Gabriel was obsessed with her (his sister) and it would be SO much more interesting if the whole long red hair thing - agree about the seriously good hair thing - were given that reference point.
Clearly, as a bloke, that would be more interesting for him - dp, that is but I don't think he's quite getting the whole Aiden Turner thing...

Well I am enjoying it, mostly to look at the fabulous hair (always craved pre-raphaelite locks) but Aiden Turner is rather phwoar.

I just went to the Radio Times website and the first thing that greeted me was a big picture of Aidan Turner looking very soulful (probably still there if you're looking at the page today - Tuesday). I had to tear myself away to look at what's on later .

First thing that greeted me was Vic 'n' Bob. I did wait and yes, that's a very nice shot (I think this is the first time I've fancied someone conventionally pretty)
