I'll start off with:

The Office
I'm Alan Partridge
Only Fools and Horses
Dawson's Creek

I know you can watch repeats, but not the same as a new weekly episode !

Noel's Christmas Presents - I love a good cry at Christmas - it's so stress relieving.

Juliet Bravo is being repeated on some cable channel. An ITV one, I think, bizarrely. I saw one of the early ones with Stephanie Turner the other week. One about a bloke who kidnapped his daughter and holed up in a farmhouse with her. It seemed terribly s-l-o-w.

Lulubee · 18/06/2009 23:18

Green Wing. One of the funniest, most satisfying series ever.

Gus Honeybuns Magical Birthdays

Dawntigga I love you for making me remember that

For anyone who didn't grow up in the wilds of Devon and Cornwall, Gus Honeybun was a (moth-eaten) puppet bunny rabbit, who announced all the kids birthdays in a 5 minute slot before the 6 o'clock news on ITV (Television South West). My gran sent in my birthday card every year . She also (mad woman that she was) knitted the puppet a jumper or a scarf every year, in a determined attempt to ensure my birthday card was read out. Oh nostalgia

TheOtherMaryPoppinsDiets · 19/06/2009 08:53

ER - yes already!

bluebump · 19/06/2009 09:05

Good lord, I'd forgotten about Gus Honeybun! I remember when we moved to Devon and I watched it and I was wondering what the hell was on the telly!

GetOrfMoiLand · 19/06/2009 09:28

Bluebump - that's Devon for you

It was great. I used to be very proud when I went to school the day after my birthday as all the other kids would comment on it (everyone watched Gus Honeybun).

Dear me what a quaint childhood!

bluebump · 19/06/2009 10:06

It took me months of watching it to realise that when he pressed the mushroom (was it a mushroom?) that sometimes the background picture changed!

Look he's on YouTube! I didn't manage to sit through the whole thing!

GetOrfMoiLand · 19/06/2009 11:39

Bluebump - at mushroom thing. Don't you realise it was called the magic button.

Lol at the fact it is on youtube!

bluebump · 19/06/2009 11:47

Hah, yes I realised that when I watched a different clip!

sunfleurs · 19/06/2009 14:42

My So called Life with an extremely young Claire Danes and even more gorgeous than now Jared Leto, was really good, I used to video it every day when I was at work - I was in my twenties

Friends.

UnquietDad · 19/06/2009 15:44

sunfleurs - it's on DVD now - just bought it for DW.

sunfleurs · 19/06/2009 16:16

Oh thanks UnquietDad, thats brilliant! Just ordered if off Amazon .

silkcushion · 19/06/2009 16:20

Purple - I loved the adventure game and no one I met can ever remember it

gibbberish · 19/06/2009 16:21

Fawlty Towers
Morse
Bergerac
Men Behaving Badly
The Wonder Years
Butterflies

UnquietDad · 19/06/2009 16:22

Everyone who remembers it seems to remember the later ones with the Rangdo and the Vortex and the Mole. There were a couple of series before that which were different.

UnquietDad · 19/06/2009 16:23

Oh, and mentioning the Mole in The Adventure Game made me think -

The Mole!

Best game-show ever. WHY was it not shown on BBC1 at primetime??!

silkcushion · 19/06/2009 16:30

think I must only remember the later ones

UnquietDad · 19/06/2009 16:33

Nobody ever used the Ham Sandwich for its correct purpose - testing the squares for the Vortex. Nobody, that is, except (I think) Matthew Kelly.

dawntigga · 19/06/2009 16:52

Mumbles grondo grondo and says Uncle likes green but not blue and yellow but not red

runs off using the ham sandwich for it's proper purpose
