NT, in my experience it is not acceptable or normal to be a misoginist.
Rubyruby... That is exactly my concern, that anyone thinks there is a difference in managing men or women.
I've had men cry infront of me because of stress,
I've had men screw up interviews because their girlfriend dumped them the night before,
I've had men gang up on and bully the new pretty man in the office,
I've had men call me at short notice because he needed to look after his kids, so couldn't get in the office that day (Single parent)
and I've had major gossipfests with male managers.
All attributes some would assume would only be done by women!
The ability to manage people is an important skill, managing men or women is not different! And in my expereince neither is more or less difficult just based on their sex.
