his hair and skin are bad, he's rude, abrupt, sexist, aggressive etc etc. I think what I find sexy is the deep down complete "goodness" of the character??

not in my case annaje, i have always fancied Mr Glenister and have never worked out why, but the Gene Hunt character just flips me over the edge (woof), i find myself going all jealous of Alex Drake

he can throw me up against his allotment shed anyday

I have no idea why he is so damn sexy. I think it is true to say that Gene is definitely the epitome of "70's man".....think John Thaw in The Sweeney. But also that beneath it all he is a good man and so protective of those he cares about.

I am starting to gain an unhealthy obsession with GH (by unhealthy, I mean looking at shoddily put together vids of Gene and Alex on YouTube). I can't help myself...I don't know why, and neither does DH; he thinks it's an outrage!

My DH is a crap reverser, has never done the arm round the headrest thing - perhaps this is the root of all my problems.

DH keeps saying, "I'm older than him and far better preserved." There is nothing so unappealing as vanity.
