Only just watched the result on Sky+

Very happy and still at Ashley.

But. We voted (one vote for everyone staying up) 1 for Aidan and 2 for Stavros cos the 10 yo insisted that Aidan was the best (and he kind of was, given he was self-taught) and me and DH for SF because they were just comedy geniuses, we loved the idea that people who are just funny ordinary blokes would have a go and because they were the ones least likely (other than 2Grand obv) to have a 'shot' in the real world.

Would have been actively pissed off if Susan had won tbh.

Stavros were hilarious; Aidan was gorgeous and amazing; Shaheen was unbelievably good; Diversity were incredible

So how did he come third? He was ordinary.

He is (Dimitri) VERY funny. I do hope he has a shedload of money out of it. They deserve it. He was so lovely with his kid on TV also.

The % votes were "leaked" to Sky news and then appeared on Digital Spy.

i loved Diversity and I think they are the only act to consistently make me go WOW.
I think Flawless' semi was weaker IMO.
Susan and Hollie fluffed the semi's.
Shaheen and Saun never made be go wow in the first place in the same way as the others - although I recognise their talent singing doesn't do it for me.
2 Grand - I though Sally was ace today, but Grandpa mediocre. They were never really title contenders.
Aidan. I think last night was "wow that was novel". Tonight it was more of the same - but altough good the lack of wow factor didn't give the viewers anything new to ote for. But then it is a shame that he didn't hae more time to invent a new routine.
Trumpet player - another consistent act - and to answer comments on this thread -the reason we all think he is fab is because most of us don't listen to solo instrumentalists (and when we do it isn't usually sax) to know what is good and what is exceptional. To me it was exceptional. TO someone that knows what they are talking about it may be average - I don't know?
Satvros Flatly...don't know. I enjoyed the act - but don't think it was refned enough. The act is obviously comedy dance. They can't dance so have to focus on the comedy....but they need to put more comedy in IMO to make them worthy winners.

The right act won IMO. Although I think I would be content to have seen 8 of them win.
