Anyone watch Mad Men?

Is it good? I have happened across a couple of episodes from Season 2 and it looks like something I might like, but I have no idea what is going on plot-wise. I thought it might be worth looking for the first Season on DVD if it's recommended here.

Peggy is my favorite character in this. Of course I lust after Don but only when he is suited and booted. Haven't seen the first episode so I can enjoy until the new series if I ration myself. Don't like Betty but that's the fun part.

Hi, I just wanted to come back to this thread to say thank you to everyone who recommended Mad Men to me. I am about 6 episodes in and I am loving it It's so good. I can't read the thread though, as I am going to try and steer clear of spoilers.

Mad Men is the best thing on TV by a mile. Can't wait for series 3 - please can they put it on at a more mainstream time though? I have to pinch myself to stay awake past 10.

I worked in advertising in the 1980's (in the UK) and I have to tell you the sexual poilitics hadn't changed much. I was a Peggy (not in the sense that I got pg by an account handler but was a female copywriter amongst a load of men.)

Does anyone have any idea when series 3 is gong to be shown and please reassure me that there is a series 3 because I couldn't find anything about it even on the HBO website.
