anyone rememeber the one in Harrogate with the barking mad slightly odd woman? They're going back to revisit them. I seem to remember she was quite annoying and didn't work but was going to get a project manager in to oversee the decoration while she moved into a hotel or something 'cos she couldn't cope with it.

Am probably just as they obviously had more money than sense.

Because she can't be arsed to get of her backside and walk or get buses

EdwardBear · 18/03/2009 20:25

her husband obviously adores her and panders to her every whim, bet they are still together

AnybodyHomeMcFly · 18/03/2009 20:25

Also she put my back up straightaway because as a northerner who has also spent 10 years living in London it is NOT unfriendly. At all. In fact my small home town is far more cold and unwelcoming than London.

Humph.

squeaver · 18/03/2009 20:25

She's had 2 kids in Battersea and made no friends??

(I don't live there btw but it is packed full of people with children - nice, friendly people)

MargotBeauregarde · 18/03/2009 20:26

Her husband's boring monotone voice is like an anaesthetic. I'm no longer jealous.

MumtoCharlieandLola · 18/03/2009 20:26

Zebra, bit like me wanting Grand Designs to do a house last week, that is bad for the environment and doesn't have glass doors and a gravity defying roof !

FiveGoMadInDorset · 18/03/2009 20:26

Z I know what you mean, my family ahd some spare land were willing to pay to hav houses built specifically for locals to get on property ladder and were turned down for planning permission

brimfull · 18/03/2009 20:27

I know someone just like her who can never make friends, even has the same annoying voice...wonder if they're related?

MumtoCharlieandLola · 18/03/2009 20:27

Yoo Hoo Bof, are you up for GD later ??

DaDaDa · 18/03/2009 20:27

I thought you lot would like her.

EdwardBear · 18/03/2009 20:27

I'm on my last Bourbon biscuit

squeaver · 18/03/2009 20:27

BOF!!Was wondering where you were. We're slagging off tits and everything!

Keep stirring.

MargotBeauregarde · 18/03/2009 20:28

True, I lived in London and made lots of friends. I live in a supposedly friendlier place now but have fewer friends. Maybe it's cos I've turned into such a sharp-tongued beotch (reading back my mean comments)

DaDaDa · 18/03/2009 20:28

Is that negative equity I see riding over the horizon...?

zisforzebra · 18/03/2009 20:29

Five-that doesn't surprise me in the slightest! Our council will green-light the most ridiculous schemes but turn down anything even vaguely sensible/useful.

Gah, out of Kit Kats

squeaver · 18/03/2009 20:29

Could be Dadada... Also he works in the City - or should that be in the past tense?

I've only put three quarters of the stock in and it's still sloppy- shall I leave it there?

mollyroger · 18/03/2009 20:30

I have a friend who lives nearby. What they haven't shown is the dry cleaners next door, the kareoke pub accross the road and most of the nearby houses are bedsits...!
It is not a very splendid part of town apparently.
y friend says the house accross the road from the spooky woods would have been the smart money. The woods are attatched the most glorious park in the centre of town.
