Have been a fan since I was a student. Am I the only one on MN?

Was a bit surprised by the turn in today's episode with the cupboard falling on Charlie.

Steph deserved it though, who'd have their 3 yr old running round a garage whilst they worked. Surprisingly heavy cupboard too.
Home and Away was much better today...

Charlie's accident was a bit telegraphed, wasn't it? From the minute she talked with Lucas as to whether he should be in the garage or not it was obvious that something was going to happen.

Agree about Raches SVIMH. Such a spoilt, self-centred princess. But, on the bright side, I think she is due to leave soon!

The accident with Charlie was like an old episode of Casualty - you know the sort of thing, man argues with wife, goes off in his car with a shot of a bottle of whiskey on the seat beside him, shots of schoolchildren milling about outside a school, moving to a shot of man in car almost losing control as he swigs from bottle, more shots of schoolchildren .... etc etc. .... hmmmm, wonder what happens next?!

When is Bridget leaving? DH has taken to calling her "ladyboy" and has started to annoy me with it.

I think the Charlie incident was a ploy to get max value out of their hospital room set. They've all been in the same room - Harold, Susan, Libby, Charlie etc. Does the hospital not have wards? .
Anyone else find Rachel not only irritating but slightly odd looking? She should be stunning but somehow it doesn't quite seem to work [bitchbunnyface].

I agree Rachel is "unusual" looking. And what happened to her big sister who looked absolutely nothing like her - Katya?

Right too about the hospital set - I also love the fact that the Ramsey St homes must all have at least 20 rooms each as they all seem to be able to doss at each other's homes with no problem at all. Toadie's house must have a revolving door!

Oh I'd really like to have a go at Steph - totally on Libby's side.

Oh, I'd love to give Steph a slap too. She's one that should be good looking but just isn't somehow. She has odd coloured skin, looks a bit butch and I reckon she smokes 50 a day too.

Oh, and how long till the Rebecca and Steve affair?? What woman in their right mind would invite that wrap dress clad, no underwear wearing temptress to live with them? Did you see the heels she had on yesterday just for walking around the house in!?

You'd have thought Miranda would have learnt her lesson after her sister tried to sleep her way through all the men of the family!

And whilst we are on Rebecca - what happened to her passion for a career in law? Poor old Toadie is left all alone to represent the people of Ramsey Street!

Just thought I'd add that my DP who has an uncanny knack for predicting soap plotlines reckons that.......

Steph's new fella Greg and his wife are con-artists who have orchestrated the whole split/rowing in public scenario so that he can get with Steph and scam her somehow (borrowing money probably)

DP reckons that Libby will suss this out (see Gregg and wife kissing or the like) and try to warn Steph but Steph will go mad at Libby accusing her of lying/being jealous.

Eventually she will realise in some wildly dramatic denouement that Libby was right and that she is her best friend after all

P.S - I love Rebecca, she is the definition of MILF and I love her sass! Oatmeal Miranda is a numpty indeed for inviting ger to move in!

Totally on Libby's side re. Steph. Shame that she stood up for Steph in front of the doctor. So sensitive of Steph to turn up with the doctor's husband at the event. How would Libby have felt if Darren had turned up with a new woman when Libby was there? Can't wait for Steph to get some sort of comeuppance. Must admit that I'm impressed with Steph's acting - to be able to be even half way convincing that she's interested in perm man is some feta.

It was Libby singing that made me cringe. Not that it was especially bad (possibly better than Rachel singing!) but just that it was that corny!

Anniek - the reason they knew the words is because it's the one and only song that dopey Rachel and dopier Ty seem to know and play at their (very short) gigs!
