Neighbours - why isn't there a thread??

Agree - it took the lady a bloody long time to get an appointment - the baby was already crying before Miranda got to it - she left it a couple of minutes - hugged it a couple of minutes then wondered around the complex.

I did like Bridget's hair as it was slightly longer and she looked really nice in that dress. Still hideous as a character and woeful as an actress.

I'm sorry but I cannot stand Donna's mum - she's driving me mad!! As is Bridget for that matter. Do we really believe that someone who has been adopted would be so happy to have her baby adopted rather than looked after by either Declan or her mum....grrrrr.

Haven't watched today, but get the gist re Miranda from these posts!

Love the way they tackle any kind of mental illness on Neighbours - in bite sized chunks, basically lasting no longer than two episodes. Anyone remember Lynn's PND? Serious enough for her to go shoplifting/abandoning her baby in a shopping centre, but a couple of weeks later when someone says "how's the PND?" the answer is a cheery "great thanks!" and the subject is never mentioned again!

Mind you they do the same with physical disabilities - I think everyone has had a turn in the cast wheelchair, but let's be honest no-one ever stays there long .....

Think the producers must have some extra money this year - they employed a doctor that wasn't Karl! same hospital room though...

Divorcing Steve has actually made me like Miranda.

Oh yes Dr Levi. He must be the most out of work actor as he seems to have been available to turn up every now and again over the last ten years or so.

Agree that the Miranda storyline was daft.

Not that I know of but if you're in Oz you must have lots of rl gossip about the people in the show??

Ooh I love gossip - but, as you say, can get a bit thrown by some of it - viz. Dan going out with that Timmins girl who was half his age. Still I say bring it on...

Just caught second half of Heartbeat and there was an Australian character in it and it was Stewie (aka Chukky??) used to be a policeman I think, and next week it's going to be an episode in Australia! How hilarious. I wonder how many Neighbours actors will be 'starring' in it.....(I am a Neighbours fan but have managed to miss it for last 6 months btw). Can't wait.

If you happen to catch it later, watch out for the world's smallest tear - she's doing a full-on, over-acting sobbing, tear-wiping performance .... and there is just the tiniest bit of a tear she's managed to squeeze out!

And is it just me, or do the rest of the cast look insanely relieved she's going? Just look at Karl's face as they wave her off at the airport ....

Just Ty, Miranda, Bridget and the Dingoes to go and Neighbours will be back to normal!

This thread has gone a bit quiet. Was in Dorset last week and unable to get C5. Toyed with the idea of catching up with the episodes online but I think I can probably work out what's going on.. Will check out the episode of Rachel's departure and the look on Karl's face. Loved today's bit with Steve and Lucas discussing life as they stared at the goldfish.

Didn't Lucas look teeny tiny next to Dan when they were lying onthe grass. And why was he wearing tights under his shorts?

Was surprised to see that Lucas had a bit of a belly- most un-Neighbours like.

Welcome to the thread Bibi. Seems there are quite a few of us Neighbours fans lurking on MN - thought I might be the only one when I started this thread - and now we've almost had 300 posts!

Poor Libby . Do we know how far along she was meant to be or what exactly the nature of her injuries are?

And Lucas, I think I have quite a soft spot for him.

My god, I hate Steph. She's just so convinced she's right all the time.
